“Love me some Sam's! The people who work at this Sam's are so nice and helpful. I just wish they wouldn't let vendors use up all of certain products. It's annoying when I'm looking for something and I'm told they're out because the sample vendors used it all.”

“At the risk of spilling the beans, this pharmacy is one of the best kept secrets in Lake County and potentially the whole Chicago-Milwaukee corridor. After visiting several Walgreens and CVS pharmacies in the area--all of which were highly dysfunctional, overworked, and incompetent--I started going to Sam's Club Gurnee. Often there is no wait, and if there is one it's miniscule. The employees are kind, they'll pick up the phone if you call, and the prices are good. Very possibly you don't have to be a member to go here. I have no idea why more people don't use this pharmacy. Somebody needs to do a case study figuring how this pharmacy has managed to stay light years ahead of other chains. Better employee pay? Not open on Sundays? Being tucked away in a corner? Lack of advertising? Requiring customers to walk a ways from the parking lot?”

“I recently went to Gurnee and I decided to buy some groceries and I ended up in this place. It is my first time at this location of Sam's Club and nothing is really different. The parking is wide and spacious. The store was so busy, but the cleanliness of the whole place was still maintained. I chose this place for my groceries, and the main reason is that they have a great selection of literally everything that I needed. They also have better prices. They have a wide and fresh selection of produce. There are a variety of options for snacks, and my favorites are available. I also went to the liquor section, where I found a wide selection of different liquors, and I could just choose anything I wanted. The 818 drink, which I think is kind of famous now, is also available, and I never tried it, which made me buy one. There are no worries when it comes to the stocks in this place because there are a lot of stocks, or more like unlimited stocks, for everything. I was about to go to the checkout when I felt famished, and the good thing is that there are foods available inside. I bought a hot dog and a brownie sundae, which were definitely delicious. There was a long line at the checkout, but it did not frustrate me a lot after eating some good food before proceeding in there.”

“It pains me to leave a good review for the evil Walmart (the Walton family is worth over $100 billion and they have that because of employees working at their stores making $9hr) but I digress.So this review is strictly about the employees at the Gurnee Walmart Pharmacy and not Walmart as a corporation.For years I’ve gone to the Gurnee Walmart pharmacy and have always been greeted quickly and respectfully and observed other customers being treated well too.All interactions as far as getting my calls answered and the pharmacy calling my doctor for refills and any other functions by the employees at the pharmacy has been excellent.I believe the manager is named Yana and she’s always been very good to me.”

“We all know customer service is DEAD, most workers absolutely anywhere in these retail stores are absolutely clueless and useless…… Not Mike Williams….This guy handled my issue very professionally and swiftly - mind you I had a serious issue with a very expensive FedEx package. Not only did I not have to go through management, corporate, nor FedEx, I didn’t have to go anywhere but this associate because he handled everything from the moment he answered the phone. He was honest, accountable, well articulated, and very professional. He did better than any managers I’ve ever dealt with, I will add I was very upset at this store’s neglect over my package. He went above and beyond to make sure my issue was resolved, get this, EVEN CALLED ME BACK within an hour. Did I mention this guy was also on the register while handling my issue?! THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE THIS MAN, He is meant to go places…..”
