Absolutely the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. They didn’t even use foil to remove the gel—just sanded down my natural nails, leaving them rough, bumpy, and damaged. The woman doing my nails didn’t remove all the gel, even after I asked her twice to take it off properly. The service felt super rushed and careless. I would not recommend this place to anyone

First of all this nail Salon is no longer named Q nails as such but Nailtique! Bought over by a wonderful family! These sisters are all great Nail Tech Engineers alongside with their Mom and other Nail Techs, who know exactly what you like! In house also is the sisters Dad, who greets you with a smile, respect and sometimes a little humor!! I highly recommend them!! I would feel guilty going anywhere else!! Try them!

I went to that particular nail shop to have my chin waxed and my eyebrows arched. Very
customer-friendly however I wanted my eyebrows super fun and that didn't happen. The prices are reasonable. Unfortunately I did not have all my glasses so it looked okay in the mirror it was not what I wanted definitely over tipped $10 was too much of a tip

It pains me that I have to give this salon a one star. I had called last minute since my I trial appointment with another salon in Waukegan didn’t work out. They were nice and took me in same day. The nail tech I got paired with was a sweetheart and the conversation was fun.
Now this is where the one star comes, I asked for dip on my natural nails. They overfilled my natural nails and even cut me. The dip came out too thick and they overflooded my cuticle. I ended up with a ring of a fire and very thin nail bed due to drilling as well as ugly nails and misshaped. It was horrible.
I still tipped and paid my due amount. I will never be going back there again. I went to another salon and they fixed me up. This was a waste of money.

By far the worst pedicure I have ever gotten my nails weren’t shaped, also the polish was put on uneven leaving some sharp corners. Not to mention the place is dirty. The nail tech did not use new/sterilized nail clippers and the nail file had been used and had somebody else’s nail dust ? for $55 go elsewhere!

Went here for about 11 years, it is now called Nailtique, I went for my usual appointment and reminded (?) them I do no chip nails and a pedi. She said, " I only have you for a manicure." I said I didn't write that and that I always get no chip and pedi. She said, "well we are busy go sit at number 8 and we'll see if we can 'fit you in'" I sat down and waited... then after about 15 minutes, I left. They lost me as a customer. No respect.

Nailtique = new name. Was searching for a place to do my acrylic fill nearby. Scheduled an appointment. And she did a really perfect job. At other salons I have had people skip the nail prep and the nails fall off. This woman knew exactly what to do and she made my nails the exact shape I wanted. They are thin and absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy.!!

Second time here. Same experience. Welcoming. Upbeat. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Caring. Careful. Technician missed cleaning some of the polish, but it’s okay. I missed it too… until I looked at the picture. Still 5-star service! I will continue to return as long as the kindness remains.
