The lady working there that day was so rude. She gave like no info on mail renew passport protocols and I wrote down the wrong address on the money order omg she flipped out. What is wrong with her. That’s not professional at all. I kept my chill she obviously didn’t. I was not happy I asked one question where to mail the passport and she just acted like I asked for the hardest question to answer wellIt’s On the sheet! She screamed horrible horrible service. Still waiting to get myMoney order back will not go here again

This place sucks.I haven't received ANY mail (no flyers, no circulars) including my mail order medication since 11/26.I Called on 11/29 spoke to Gwen at the post office. First I was advised my carrier is OFF and mail is light. I say I need my mail. I'll even pick it up. Was told she'd speak to the Carrier and get back to me. No call back. Called and got her again 12/2 ...was told carrier says there's no mail. THEN she says "it's my understanding that box is very full and we may assume you moved or are deceased." This obvious statement indicates they stopped delivering my mail....due to an ASSUMPTION. Again my Medication is Sent through the mail. Why assume? Isn't it policy to leave an inquiry tag on the box or door?I'm so disgusted!!!!! Now I have to miss work to go speak to the post master, which I'm sure will net nothing also. I receive WAY too much junk mail for NOTHING to have come for my address for a week.

It all depends on a combination of when you visit the post office and how many people happen to be there as far as how pleasant your visit will be. If you're getting a passport you need to make an appointment.

Workers are rude! Asking a question is like asking them a million dollars! The African lady at the counter who was working on Saturday has the worst customer service. If you don’t want to be there, get another job!

I was visiting some family in the states and wanted to send a postcard back home but was a little uncertain how they do things this side of the pond, the queue was very long so I took the chance and asked the lady janitor with a bandanna if she might know anything and she happily pointed me in the right direction, she was very friendly and polite

Large, fully-staffed post office with plenty of parking. Staff sounded friendly. There was a long line for counter service, but it was moving along. I used the Self Service station and was in and out in 5 minutes. Adequate number of supplies for self service and the machine was working. Fine location. I'll come here again next time I'm coming up to Gurnee.

I went there over a year ago that Mexican Lady over there doesn't have no manners and when I bought some stamps there and she said nothing andI said Your Welcome and she should be fired and she acts bizarre and looks bizarre and that's bizarro world. That is the last time I dealt with her.

The Hispanic female working the front counter with bleached hair is rude and seems unhappy to help customers. I came in to pick up my hold mail, and she stated that there wasn’t any mail on hold for me at my address. I asked what I can do as I no longer live at the address I had the mail on hold for. Luckily, I have the post masters direct phone number. When I asked for it, she said “you can just call the 800 number on the website.” After that, I read back the phone number to verify and she looked at me and just gave me a dry “uh huh.”For someone being paid by tax dollars and with great government benefits, she is extremely u happy with her job.

I have been going to this post office for five years now (since we moved here in 2017) and I do not know where this awful rating is coming from. It must be every person who has one bad experience comes to rant about it. Has every single experience been above par five stars? No, because there are busy times or days when I'm in a foul mood or customer service isn't perfect... But I've never had a one-star experience in five years. I wouldn't even say I've had a 2-star experience. Overall the staff is friendly and welcoming. I've dropped off prepaid packages, I've bought stamps, we've done passport photos, and I've had to talk to the postmaster. All perfectly fine interactions. I would give four stars but honestly I want to bump up the rating a bit more since I legit have zero problems with this branch.

This place is the worst. I moved and just wanted to change my address. Criminal. They're just a bunch of lazy people who couldn't get a job at McDonald's
