I find the pharmacist to be great but they are so busy. It’s too hard for them to give each and every customer FAST service because they are swamped. I think they do a great job, but really need more help to give the service levels we all want.

Trying to get information over the phone is painstaking. Eats my time up and is totally inaccessible. Usually in-person service is good but sometimes lines take 30min-1h.

Regarding the pharmacy, I'm baffled how out of 15 meds approved by the Dr, the same drug that helps prevents strokes, hardly ever makes it back with the other meds!!!! It's the most expensive pill I get, that can't be the reason it's being missed. Three people from the Drs office say it was sent back approvEd on such n such a day. Two people from the pharmacy say, nope never got it! This happens every month! So, the 2 computers are not communicating on the same 1 drug. I get, we're sending it & and no he's not sending it back, 6 phone calls. Sometimes dr sends it back alone, & I get nothing! A cashier said their system needs updating. That kind of makes sense rather than anything unethical! This is the pharmacy I switched to!

I had a great experience here on Friday 12/16/2022. Great to be back in Gurnee. I haven't been to this Walgreens in many years, and it was cool to see it is still great.Shout-out to both Eddie and John. I found the Panini World Cup stickers box I was looking for, and even pulled a Lionel Messi in the very first pack I opened. You guys are my good luck charm now; I'll be back again soon to redeem my W Cash Rewards.Happy Holidays everyone!

I’ve never been to this pharmacy where they aren’t slower than molasses. Five people behind the counter and all of them will walk past customers. Don’t bother using the drive thru because they will ignore you. Use literally any other pharmacy if you can.

Cindy, pharmacy manager, has been a Godsend for us. She acted quickly when we were in touch about our young daughter needing to start Humira injections. She was in touch with Abbvie to get that started for us...and quickly...so our daughter would feel healthy again. She is always there to advise, and give suggestions to help Walgreens patrons with their healthcare needs. Thank you!

Scheduled an appointment online for minute clinic for 11:00 and would not see me because there was an error with the date of birth. Instead of being able to show them my ID with the correct DOB they made me wait while someone without an appointment go ahead of me. Still waiting to be seen.

It seems Walgreens has a mixture of locally-relevant reviews such as mine for the Gurnee, IL location at 7501 Grand Avenue, and then a general comment "feed" that may be nationwide. I think that's unfortunate because some of those people are absolute lunatics stating things which are categorically untrue. ALL of Walgreen's pharmacists are highly trained, certified, and knowledgeable The technicians do not, of course, have the same certifications and are thus unable to address
