I refuse to let anyone cut my hair except for Carol. I walked into You Have Style! for the first time when I was in high school, and have been going to Carol ever since. It's been about ten years since we first met, and Carol is just as consistently talented and wonderful now as she was when she was styling in Lake Bluff. My personal style is a bit unusual for a lot of stylists, but Carol really works with me and my aesthetic visions, all the while giving me a cut that I can style for more conventional settings. She can craft a high fashion cut for me that, with the right amount of paste and blowdrying, can be tamed into something I can wear when I'm teaching. Watching her work on hair is nothing short of magical. Her shop is beautiful and chock full of good vibes. It is in a convenient location with a lot of parking, also. Carol cultivates an environment that is professional as well as friendly. She sells high-quality, cruelty-free products for hair and nails, as well as beautiful jewelry and seasonal gifts. I currently live out of state, but whenever I am back in town, I make a point to have Carol do her magic on my locks. There is just no one else like her, no one who can match her phenomenal talent.
