2 miles off the express way, quiet, clean campground. First come first served, water and electric on site. Good dump station. Under $30 per night.

Beautiful campground, nicely landscaped, good open space, nice view of the river.

Awesome campground. Have been going here for years with family. Excellent location and the fishing quality on the river is amazing. Only downside is it is first come first serve for a site, you cannot reserve online. One time I had to go to plan B because no sites were available here. Bathrooms are decent, not the best compared to other campgrounds, but they get the job done.

I've been to Illiniwek many times but I have never seen the public restrooms in such disgusting shape. Dirty, smelly, just horrible. Big disappointment!!!!

This place used to be a beautiful lush and wild park but nowadays every time I get there it's overcrowded to max, you need to reserve your place way ahead otherwise by sun dusk need to go unless you have a permit and even that has skyrocketed from 5$ to like 20$....All and all it is well maintained and safe place to camp...

A nice quick getaway for fishing and camping. Shops are available nearby. Walmart is like 10mins away and there is also a mini store called Porter’s that’s like 3mins. Enjoy!

Great park area. Restrooms were basically clean considering there were many people using the park.

I like the first come first served places in the spring and fall... Nice sites that are adequately spaced. We could see the river without any trouble, but the lock is pretty far away to see. Showers and restrooms were clean. Gravel driveways but reasonably level, though you can select whatever pitch your rig likes depending on site. Reasonably priced. There are a lot of nice riverfront primitive sites too. It's near a railroad but the train only comes by twice a day, and not at night, so that's not an issue. Cool area.

Quiet park. Very convenient to I 80. Great access to river bike trail. Sites are level with water and electric. Access to bathrooms is a pain with being locked but I understand why they did it.

Beautiful view of Mississippi. Place is so very clean and the grounds are well kept. Bike paths in and around camp are an added bonus to the campgrounds. It camp there again.

There are beautiful views of the Mississippi, a nice playground, showers, trails, ice, ice cream and friendly staff here. You can also dump your RV without camping for a small fee. It's a must stop for RV travellers to the Illinois side of the QCA.

My family and I went camping here over the weekend. It's very well kept and clean, plus we were right by the Mississippi. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful peaceful Campground if you're looking for shade in the afternoon stay over in the 30s between 31 and 40, staff is super friendly they have ice and firewood although this time of year they're out of ice and won't restock highly recommend if you're passing through or just coming up for the weekend

Called them to reserve a spot, they said you cannot reserve “it’s first come first serve”. We knew someone camping there and we were gonna pull in there spot when they left .. drove 2 hours, tell the host we are just gonna pull in this guys site when he pulls out. She says “no the people who reserved that site are gonna pull in there when he pulls out!” In a snotty tone.... so apparently if your the host friend you can make reservations after all.
