I have visited. They are on the way to peoria from Macomb. I bought necessary thing like drinks chips and several types of candies. Dollar General is always a useful store for general people. keep it up.

I had an absolutely horrific experience today, November 30, 2023, I am a 60yr old mother and a grandmother and a business owner of over 30 years and 12 of those years are in Hanna City Il , I went to the Dollar General today and while I was shopping I had to use the restroom. I didn’t think I could wait so I asked the lady if I could have the key to the restroom She told me that she just let someone in there so I waited and I waited and I waited, then I asked her again. Are you sure that you let someone in there? She said yes, I let someone in there she said it hasn’t been that long ago maybe two or three minutes! well, I had been waiting longer than two or three minutes , so as I was waiting another customers came up to another employee And asked to use the restroom and she told them that they were no longer available to the public!! so I started knocking on the door. No one answered. No one was in there, and the lady who told me she let someone in there was lying. She didn’t let anyone in there because she wasn’t going to let anyone in there, I confronted her and she tried to lie, and when I told her she was lying she said I got tired of cleaning up shit off the walls So I stopped letting people use it. I was very upset with the lady and in the meantime, as embarrassing as it is I pooped my pants!! This should never happen to anyone and they should be fired!!’ I will never ever shop there again and I will try to tell all of my customers what happens in the Dollar General in Hanna City. Then I find out she is the manager! WOW POOR CHOICE!!!

Everythings stocked looks nice. The cashier Leann I think was her name has such a loud mouth. Just turn it down you've got customers we don't give a damn about your drama.

On Saturday October 1st, my family and I were visiting my elderly Mother for the day. We live 2 hours south. When we arrived in Hanna City, my little 6 year old boy said that he had to use the bathroom and couldn't hold himself. I stopped at the Dollar General and asked for the key to the restroom. As the clerk began to hand it to me, a younger male customer who had been chatting about buying phone sim cards with the clerk for 5 minutes while we waited in line, told the clerk that the restrooms were closed for maintenance (more than likely they were closed for the spoon river drive traffic). The male clerk said, "Oh Yeh, that's right." He added, "Buddy, there's a whole big corn field out there that he can use". I was offended at the suggestion that my little boys needs were dismissed out of hand. I grew up in Hanna City until adult hood. What poor service and terrible behavior! Thankfully, the Casey's store had bathrooms open. Dollar General management and the owner might want to read the following Illinois statute: (410 ILCS 39/) Restroom Access Act before denying access to their restrooms again. At any rate, I won't have to worry about it. We spend a lot of money in that store. They just lost my business and my family's business. I gave 1 star because I had to....in my mind they should be a minus 5 !
