READ THE REVIEWS regarding reserving cars in advance and not getting one! I booked a MINIVAN 5 weeks in advance. March 18th I received a vmail confirming I would be picking up the "minivan" on March 22. I confirmed 100% yes. I received a vmail on March 22 @ 12:45pm (day of pick up) asking if I wanted to pick up the "minivan" earlier. I called 27 minutes later & was told she no longer had a minivan, however they had a Durango. I was upset stated I had a big family & luggage, as well received a written agreement & 2 vmails confirming my MINIVAN. My personal vehicle is a Durango, I didn't want to put miles on it, as well it wasn't necessarily big enough. She told me she'd discuss w/manager & call back. @ 4:02pm (close at 5pm) she called back stating "no changes". I was irate asked for the supervisor. I did not cancel the reservation. At 4:22pm the supervisor called & told me that's all she can do. My "corporate rate" was also referenced. I was irate, I felt it was "bait & switch" & it was "unethical". I would go get the car, but this is not how to treat customers. I was told that I didn't have to rent from them. I explained it was too late as we were leaving on vacation. I arrived at Hanover Park, IL @ 4:40pm. There were 4 customers in the lobby sitting + 2 others came in while I waited. I was asked who was next, I said I was there for the Durango, she said ok. She then communicated with an internal employee. A few minutes later, 4:55pm my son was on the side of the building waiting for me & watched the Durango get moved from the rear of the building & parked on the street behind the building. While I was waiting she told 3 customers that even though they booked cars today, she didn't have any, that the company was trying to book all the cars. Those customers left extremely irate. At 5:20pm, after sitting for 40 minutes, I was called to the counter. I was told that since I told her I had a Durango & wanted to speak to her supervisor that she didn't have a car for me. I stated the Durango was around back, she stated that it "was not". I was extremely upset. I stated this was "unethical". I was told that I didn't know the meaning of the word "unethical". Then she yelled back at me and told me not to talk any longer. I walked to the side of the waiting area. I immediately called the supervisor & spoke with her colleague who told me the message would be given to her. I stood for 10 minutes awaiting the call back, which didn't occur. Then 3 police cars arrived. I explained myself & agreed to move on. On my way out I took a picture of the Durango which also had a rental sticker on it. I then drove to O'Hare airport to rent from Budget. I immediately wrote a letter explaining my experience to the President of Enterprise. On MONDAY, I received a kind phone call from one of the District Managers. I explained the situation, which he was going to look into, I have yet to hear back. As someone who advocates for the importance of customer-centric practices and ethical conduct, I cannot help but express my dismay at the treatment I received. It is my sincere hope that this incident serves as an opportunity for improvement within the organization to prevent similar experiences for other customers in the future.

Unfortunately, I have had two bad experiences in a row at this Enterprise location. Recently, I booked on line and received an email confirmation. The following week and the day before my rental I missed a call from Enterprise to confirm the reservation. I called back the next day and spoke with the same person who left me the voice mail and we confirmed that I would be there to pick up the rental car between 12-2. When I showed up at the designated time, there was no car for me. The manager could not guarantee a car anytime within the next few hours and recommended I look somewhere else. This was just like the old Seinfeld episode. The problem I have is that they did not think of calling me back to let me know that there was no car. Instead they let me show up and get left by an Uber only to be stranded at their office. Also, there was no effort to make any reconciliation with the screw up. Just a sorry from a glassy eyed manager who I believe was probably put in a bad situation by someone higher above her level.

I rented a Jeep Cherokke, Miss Sophie helped me, the whole process was very fast and pleasant, the car worked perfectly, I didn't have any problems and when I returned the car, Miss Sophie welcomed me again in a kind and respectful manner and they returned me my deposit, thanks for your attention.

Have rented several cars and SUV’s in the past several months one for a long trip to Wisconsin and also after an accident with my car. Holly was terrific, very friendly and pleasant to deal with also got a ride home after I dropped off the rental. The vehicles were all newer models with low miles!

1st rental, had three safety issues and inside windows were so dirty... Cracked and chipped windshield, check engine light, seat belt sensor. After calling for 3 days to swap out I got NO help. I had to drive on my own to a different location for another car....Second rental much better. But they switched the rate on me after telling me that it would not change. I never signed anything with any new rate and never agreed to the change. Bait and switch? unfair and misleading your customers.

This location is the best. Friendly and courteous staff. Simple check outs and had something available for me last minute. Highly recommend this location over all others I’ve tried.

Nick was absolutely wonderful in helping my office find a rental and take care of what needed to be done. I can't thank him enough and a raise should definitely be given to him for his phenomenonal work! Amazing work!

I needed to rent a car at a last minute. I was greeted by Holly with a welcoming smile, my car was ready in a few moments, my options were clearly explained, I even got a free car class upgrade and of course a good rate. Everything was seamless and exceptional.After a few days I returned the car and Holly greeted me again with a beautiful smile. As she remembered me and the car I rented the final checkout went easily. Awesome experience.

Reserved car two months ago. Went to pick it up and was told that since I did not pick up their phone call the day before they had no car available. I told Holly I was not aware that they were going to call or even why that would be necessary. She was very dismissive and said that was their policy. Talk about one rude person. Boy do they need help!!! Just stay away. Made a quick call to Hertz and 30 minutes later had a car.

This placed sucked. My hubby made reservations for luxury car 2 months ago and was told no problem. Then we arrive to get our vehicle and they didn't have one available. They told us they called my husband to confirm we are still picking up luxury car, but my husband missed their call and they left no message. But, still wanted us to get a truck or small car, my husband is 6'5" and wouldn't fit in a small car. So we left and ended up at Hertz and helped us immediately and got the car we needed. Never use this location, Holly had no patience in dealing with how upset my hubby was with there poor customer service!!!!

Holly's customer service skills is fantastic with a great personality to boot, and she's very thorough with walk-arounds! Had a small delay in receiving my scheduled rental since it was busy, but she made sure I was in a car ASAP!The vehicle itself was clean despite it being rushed & ran smooth on a 9hr drive & back.The staff in the morning on 4/24 & 5/2 with Holly was friendly and helpful, too!Definitely would do business here again.
