You can only go up by elevator with a guide now. It's 10 bucks a person to go up. It's still kinda cool for the kids, and the guide does give you a lot of interesting information.
I don't think we'd do it again though for the price.

Got there at the last minute, but the host was gracious enough to still give me the tour and talk about the local history. Very knowledgeable and courteous!

Worth the stop! Great views, good history, and great, helpful staff!
