Up until this week, this was a 5 star review. Loved this dealership. Then I sent my 2020 Explorer in for a recall, that they sent me numerous text messages and phone calls trying to get it in and 3 bad tire sensors under extended warranty. Made the appointment a week ago. They were supposed to pick up the car between 8 and 10 am, didn't show up until 11. Didn't call, no apology...then called that afternoon around 3 to tell me they just got the job approved from warranty and were waiting on parts and would get the job done the next morning. Fine, whatever, fix it. THEN the next morning came and the UPSELL came. We recommed the following maintenance by time and mileage. New cabin filter, $62.95 (its a year old but its a $14 filter at auto parts store), Wiper blades $85 (they are currently running a mobile special for $39.95!), coolant system flush $179.95 (its orange and ok but we recommend it based on age - 5 years. Owners manual says 10 years or 200,000 miles which our car has 42,000) and a new battery $334.75 (it tested ok but on the low side of ok). SERIOUSLY? Guess it's time to find a truly honest dealer. Long review but unless you want an upsell, in this case $663 before tax, go somewhere else.

Sales staff "Alex" Set us up with the vehicle we wanted, and the accessories we wanted added. Fair on our trade in, and fast easy financial paperwork. Everyone at this dealership was friendly and respectful, a real pleasure to work with. Well worth the drive from Rockford. Doug in the service department made the arraignments for the accessories we wanted added, and all of the scheduling and delivery was easy and on time.

Always a great experience! So easy to do business with Harvard Ford. A lot of dealerships are taking advantage of the lack of available vehicles. They did not. Thanks for being fair and honest.

I brought my 2011 Ford Fusion in for "The Works." Harvard Ford was recommended to me some years ago and I have been coming here ever since. Good people, good service, good prices, and pleasant waiting area.
However, this time, while waiting for my Fusion to be serviced, I bought a 2024 Mustang Mach 3. Woo hoo!

I had such a great experience purchasing my truck here last night (6/21/2024) at Harvard Ford! Especially after the nightmare of a time I had with the Huntley Ford gang of imbeciles. This was simply refreshing.
I initiated my interest through their website and was contacted by Sara Kalla (Internet Director), and she was super easy to work with and provided prompt responses to all of my inquiries.
Once I was settled on the pickup I wanted, she arranged a time for me to come in.
I was greeted by Anthony Castaldo (Sales Consultant) and he got me into the pickup we came to see and he allowed my teenage daughter and me to play around in it to see if we liked it enough to keep moving the deal along. We did.
We went inside and had great conversation with Anthony... super cool guy! He actually cared about us as customers and took the time to get to know us as humans and not just as a transaction. Being in sales myself, I greatly appreciated this approach and caring touch.
We next met Bob McQueeny (Sales Manager). He was just as awesome to work with! The negotiations that we had were very straightforward, and any games that other dealerships had tried to pull were nowhere to be found here.
After a short two hours at the dealership, we were on our way home in our Ford F-150 (before a quick swing thru Canes, of course)!
Purchasing a vehicle can be an extremely stressful ordeal for most, but that was all avoided by making the decision to work with the Harvard Ford family of fine folks! I will be a returning customer down the road and will most certainly steer friends here!

Just had a great experience purchasing some fleet vehicles. It was actually enjoyable. I was in and out. Brandon was super helpful. I mean he probably was more educated on each vehicle than Henry himself. I was impressed. Bob didn’t mess around with the paper work. The test drive took longer than the paper work. That’s never happened to me. Amazing service for sure.
