“I recently attended a class at Moonshot CrossFit and while it pushed me out of my comfort zone and left me feeling some soreness, I had an absolute blast. The class was well-designed, with a good balance of cardio and strength exercises. What truly stood out, though, was the ownership's enthusiasm and support. “I have so many positive thoughts about this place I don’t know where to start. This is easily the best gym I’ve been to since I started working out in 2016. The community and staff are unmatched, truly feels like a big family. From the day I walked in seeking a membership I felt extremely welcomed. As a female it’s hard finding gyms where you feel respected and not stared at by creepy old dudes and I immediately noticed a difference in mentality here. Everyone has a mutual respect for one another, everyone reracks their weights/cleans equipment. They have some newer booty builder equipment that isn’t found many other places as well as a posing room! The ONLY reason I left was we due to relocation issues and I’m so upset I had to leave ? this gym has me contemplating an hour drive just to be back somewhere I feel happy calling home”

“Was traveling into town for a trade show & hit up Rockwell Barbell. If you're a strength sport enjoyer this is the gym for you. All the competition equipment an athlete could look for from calibrated plates to fun gear like bands & chain Rockwell has it all. Lawrence was easy to deal with and his gym is a personification of his support of strength sports. Any gear or equipment you can need (boards for bench?) is abundant, didn't have to wait for a single item. If you're debating the trip to get there.... don't, you won't regret it. If you like jacking steel, it's the place to be in Chicago!”

“Ive been coming to the Garage Gym heavy AF classes for 6 weeks now and absolutely love them! I was previously just doing one class a week and purchased the five pack, but I decided to move forward with a membership to start going multiple times a week because of how much I’ve enjoyed the classes! All of the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and the people who attend the classes are also great and motivated to work hard. “I cannot explain how happy I am to have found this studio towards the beginning of my pregnancy! Adina has cultivated such a wonderful community to support pregnant women. These classes have been so great for not only my physical health but my mental health as well! It has empowered me to not feel scared or nervous for birth, and I'm now aiming for having a natural birth (if the situation allows!). I am now 35 weeks and plan to come to classes as long as I can. I also love that there are mommy & me classes for post partum as well as mom groups. It has been so nice meeting other women and I feel so happy knowing there will be a support place for me to go as a new mom. Adina also offers baby prep classes outside of fitness to help you and your partner prepare for birth. My husband and I took the CPR course, and it was SOOOO helpful. We were really happy we signed up for it.”

“CrossFit Park Ridge is easily one of the best gyms I’ve ever been part of. The environment is super motivating and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy. The community is amazing! Everyone’s friendly, encouraging, and genuinely wants to see each other succeed.

The programming is excellent. It’s well thought out, challenging, and can be adapted to any fitness level. You’ll get stronger, faster, and more confident with every workout. The coaches are great too! knowledgeable, supportive, and always paying attention to form and safety.

The equipment is in great condition and really well taken care of. The space is clean, organized, and there’s even a good outdoor area for runs, which adds something extra to the workouts.

One thing I really appreciate is how many class times they offer. There are a lot of early morning options, which makes it easy to stay consistent no matter what your schedule looks like.

Overall, this is a great place to train, meet solid people, and push yourself. If you’re thinking about trying CrossFit or switching gyms, I highly recommend!”

“Anytime Fitness Niles is the gym to go to. The gym is always clean, the machines are new and maintained and the staff is always friendly. It has everything you need, from cardio, to weights and group classes. The location is convenient and there is plenty of parking. “Excellent, 24-hour, old-school iron gym. A day pass is $17. They have a little bit of everything from fat-grip dumbbells to belt squat. There are two separate buildings a half block apart. One for upper body and one for lower body.”

“Ultimate Ninjas NorthShore is a GREAT place for a kids Birthday party! My daughter and her friends (ages 4-6) had an absolute blast. The staff was great from start to finish. Activity options ranged from climbing up walls, hanging from ring and bars, sliding down slides, playing basketball, guided obstacle courses and more. We had many sets of hands helping with set up and takedown of the party room, serving the kids snacks and treats, and most importantly they ran all the activities. We would definitely do another party here. My daughter also does a weekly “ninja class” here too, which she loves and always sleeps well the night afterwards. Great spot for activities and parties!”

“I started out at the Edge in hopes of jumping starting my fitness routine post Covid. My initial plan for to try it our for a few months. I've been attending classes three times a week for almost 3 years now and I've never felt better. As a result, my previous chronic body pain is gone, I have gained strength and endurance. Mark Sich doesn't lie when he promises to make you the most athletic version of yourself. The most unexpected outcome is the support and camaraderie of the Edge community. I look forward to seeing Mark, Sean, David and my "group" each and every time I walk through that door.”

She fosters a sense of community at her studio, and she goes above and beyond to try and make things work for you if possible. If you want results, you have to put in the work— there is no babying, but Merced’s is the person that will push you to get there. She is worth every penny and sore muscle”
