I drove myself to this emergency room I was admitted for gall bladder surgery. I ended up being I the hospital for 29 days, after surgery I was immediately taken to intensive care unit with a tube inserted into my nose that went through my mouth down to my stomach I could not talk. Also, I don’t even have diabetes but they took blood everyday testing for diabetes until I told them I don’t have diabetes. I would not recommend going to this hospital

Had a minor surgery at the center for advanced care on Friday March 15.I arrived at 10am and was taken back immediately. Dr Allan Ruby was my surgeon. He is wonderful. From the lady at the front desk down to my nurses Amy and Pearl, everyone treated my like family and made my first surgery a breeze. They even called to check in on me the very next day.

Waited 13 hours for a checkup is crazy too me !! The amount of time it took for us to even get checked in is wild. I never leave bad reviews but this place is horrible , will never come back . The vending machines didn't even work.

Arrived 8pm with high blood pressure and chest pains it it 10:45 still no doctor or relief from pain. Staff seems unconcerned and understaffed. Definitely do not recommend this facility.

Had a procedure done and it was such a great experience. The hospital was clean organized well. Thank you to the nurses and doctors who treated me.

The only reasons I gave 3 out of 5 stars was due to the nurse who was assigned to me immediately after my surgery while in recovery. As soon as I woke up she jolted my bed up to a 90 degree angle and then told me I need to put my head down, as I just had a vitrectomy with a gas bubble in my eye. I immediately told her I felt nauseous. She reclined the bed somewhat. Then told me to try and drink the juice next to me and eat the crackers. But didn't open it for me. I'm feeling nauseous and I can only see out of one eye, and she couldn't open it for me??I was also disappointed with the Nurses who did my IV. They first attempted on the inside of my arm. Between my wrist and elbow. After getting the needle in my arm, they took it out and tried again on top of my hand. That has NEVER happened to me before. All previous procedures the Nurse got it right...the first time with minimal pain. I was in tears after the two attempts here.

Today was not a good day. Sunday, in the ER for 6 hours thus far…still sitting here and the staff states I am sorry we are short staffed. Our health care system is really struggling!!

This is the worst hospital on earth. This hospital get zero stars. Some of the staff here are lazy and don't wanna do their jobs. I won't say all staff because it is some that do care. But the majority of the staff don't care about the patients. They won't get a bath unless you are there, I had to call the nurse assistant and ask her if she could give my mom a bath. But if I hadn't asked she wouldn't have gotten one. This hospital has gone down tremendously over the yearsI wouldn't bring my dog here. This place has so many bad reviews, the only reason I come here is because this is where the ambulance brings my mom every time they have to come get her. I've had several bad experiences with this horrible place. I feel sorry for people that have to bring their love ones to this hospital because of distance.

Very friendly, very clean.I would love to have all of my procedures at south suburban hospital The check in reception and the nursing staff the anesthesia staff and the main event, the Doctor. They treated me with the utmost love and respect and cared for me with friendliness ?
