Small town festival with enough to keep everyone entertained. Compact area with plenty of rides still for all ages and free music...what else do you need?

I am very disappointed this year. The rides are very limited and wrist bands where $28 with a $2 fee. My kids rode every ride in like 30 minutes. This was the most disappointing fair I have ever seen. I am a local and the majority of people including kids where disappointed. All everybome could say was what happened to the vendors, rides, and concerts this year.

Was nice, the bands are 30 which should be 20 like other carnivals but was fun. More security should be in place. Alot of young people and kids being inappropriate and cussing in front of children. Cutting in lines and just acting ridiculous. People please stop letting your children out when you haven't raised them right.

We go every year!! Love the funnel cakes!! Tons of rides, games, and places to shop!! We usually go twice while they are in town during Herrin fest!!! Usually visit during the evening to see a the lights!!!! Such a great way to make memories!!!!!! I posted a few pictures of awesome memories of Herrin fest!!!
