Friendly staff and fair prices

Nice pool tables for playing pool league. The staff is very polite and accommodating. Along with alcoholic drinks and canned sodas you can get a pizza. I did not see an automated soda dispenser. There are bathrooms. There are Illinois lottery games. There are several tables. There is a room people can go in for smoking or vaping. That is separate from the rest of the establishment which does not smell like smoke. The bathrooms are in good working order. I have heard that Shelby's bar location at one time had something of reputation but I have visited many times and have never seen anyone belligerent or excessively inebriated there. I think if someone is concerned about anything they might have heard about that location in the past, Shelby's is not that place and they are a fine bar to go visit.

Stopped in for a Coke and a smile ? They were very hospitable! A nice lady bought me a diet coke and told me a joke when I left ? The renovation look great and they were talking about painting the walls again. ? Great place.

Great place, Great Atmosphere, Friendly People, Bartenders and Management are superb... Very well kept, Nice Diamond Pool Tables.... Can't say enough... Highly recommend. A+++++

I have known the owner Timmy and to him by assumption, I, am a guest for the most part, and somewhat a friend in many ways. That could always change. He is a great man with a great pool hall / bar/ party place. The tables are great and so are the pool players that go there. I am one of them on rare occasions.
