I was looking to seal my driveway so I searched online for the best reviewed company. Schell had the best so I called. I was told due to some larger cracks on the sides it obviously wouldn’t look new but it would look and better than nothing. They suggested a special fill and do a 2 day project of filler one day and seal the next. I was quoted extra for the two day job. Workers showed up and filled and sealed in one day and it looked horrible. I messaged and Jeff and he came out and said they did fill & seal but they probably could have done a better job and wasn’t sure if they used the filler he had suggested. He also admitted that communication isn’t always the best with his guys and he would come back and fix it.
They came back the next time they were in the area and filled some cracks. I got home from work and asked if they were coming back to seal. Jeff said the work was complete. I can just pay him for what I think it’s worth.
I don’t understand why they didn’t do the job I was originally quoted for. I would have been a happy satisfied customer. My driveway looks like a botched job. The first three photos I’m posting are from the original one day job. The rest are from the second fill. I was expecting them to have a nice single seal over everything. Jeff also agreed that sealing after crack fill is ideal and would leave a better look and surface.

Schell Sealcoating took out my old driveway and put in a new one with my request to add an additional apron, that came out fabulous. Their workmanship was perfect. Highly recommend SS+P to friends and family. Jeff was so easy to deal with.

Schell replaced our 3,100 sq ft asphalt driveway/parking area last summer. His crew removed and disposed of the old asphalt, added a thick layer of gravel, leveled it to improve drainage, and compacted the gravel before installing the asphalt. The crew rolled the asphalt to a smooth surface, and hand-tamped the edges. It’s beautiful! Jeff was on site throughout the process and was easy to talk with and explained every step. Prior to paving, he sealcoated our old driveway annually for the 11 years we've lived here. I highly recommend Schell for sealcoating and driveway replacement.

We've used Schell Sealcoating for years, ever since we understood the impact of coal tar sealant on humans and the environment. Schell Sealcoating uses Black Diamond which is comparable in price and effectiveness to coal tar sealant and has a much lower level of toxicity. Jeff Schell is easily reachable for questions and scheduling. His pricing very fair, and we've coordinated Schell Sealcoating services with our neighbors. Schell Sealcoating and Paving is a dependable and quality company! We have used them for several years now. We have a very large driveway and when we first met Jeff Schell, we were concerned he would tell us that we need to replace it completely. He thought we could get a few more years out of it with some good sealcoating. Well, it's been over 5 years and we have not seen anymore wear and tear! We definitely recommend this company to all of our neighbors!

3 years ago I wanted my asphalt driveway replaced. I had gotten 2 approximate estimates for the project. However they would not give me an exact price as they were not sure what the base was under the driveway. I decided to give Schell a call. Gerardo came out to take a look. Gerardo actually drilled into the asphalt to see what was underneath. He took the extra time so there would be no surprises. Two of my neighbors have used Schell also and they are very happy with their work. They do excellent work on asphalt and seal coating.
