Highland Park has a surprising number of baby and kid stores. I stopped here since I was looking for a coming-home outfit. There's a carousel outside the store on the sidewalk, which I think is kind of an adorable touch! The employees didn't notice at first that I had even come in... they greeted me when I wandered into the other room. The shop is large and clean and carries mostly baby clothes but has a few other items. They have a larger gender-neutral selection than another store I was at but still somewhat surprised by how heavily stores/manufacturers are still leaning into pink and blues for kids, or gendered cuts (ruffles, bows, etc.). I did see a few gender-neutral sorts of items but either had the item already or decided against it. I would probably not make a special trip to Highland Park to shop here, but that's not really a knock on this store because I don't know of any store that I'd head out to the suburbs for. Parking can be tricky because this is essentially downtown Highland Park, and you'll really only find street parking. However, the Metra station is only a couple blocks away. If you're looking for baby clothes you'll certainly find something here because they definitely have plenty of cute things.

My daughter was recently signed with Sprout Kids Agency and we have had some amazing experiences. Their communication with us is top notch. They make my child feel like a priority and a part of a bigger family. They provide constant tips and advice, and are available to answer any question you may have. They seem to have an amazing client base and make us feel we are in great hands. My child is happy, which means I am beyond happy.

Rudest sales people ever! Tried to exchange bday gifts from late July, which were past their 30days policy, tried to explain that my girls could not make it downtown to make the exchanges after 4th July tragedy and trauma they experienced. Staff absolutely rude, condescending, tried to accuse me of getting items from their sidewalk sale, despite their tag being on the item. They don’t provide gift receipts. Absolutely horrible customer service. I supported their clothing and toy business for years (Bean Stock, Wild Willow), including during pandemic! Needless to say this will stop now, I will never buy another item or gift from these stores again! Good job loosing my business over $100!

Customer service is key no matter ethnicity or nationality. If I am a paying customer and someone of a different background approaches your register, DO NO EVER SAY ITS OKAY FOR ME TO WAIT AND PROCEED TO process the incoming customer first. I know this will go over most people's heads here, but active duty military money is just as good if not better than anyone else's.

Worst customer service ever! Very, very unfriendly!! Rude staff and management! Owner is unavailable. One nice staff member out of four separate interactions. Two staff ladies left passive aggressive phone messages on my daughter, an expecting mother’s phone!! In error mind you! Twice!! Two separate staff members within 4 days!!!Their excuse... miscommunication, miscommunication, and miscommunication!Get it together folks, get FACTS before phone calls to pregnant women PLEASE!!!!!

Drove 45 minutes because we wanted to help local businesses. The store says it opens at 10. It was not open and we waited 30 minutes and it was still closed. You lost a customer that was ready to spend some money today.

I have made a trip to this store to make a return for a friend of mine. I made that very clear to the middle aged woman at the counter. While still chit chatting to another customer she looked though the bag, found the receipt and began to laugh. She looked at me and laughed in my face with another customer. She then took her little “Return Policy” sign and put it in front of me saying “I cannot accept this because it’s past the date.” Ok, I understand that, but there is no need to be so condescending. Just say it’s past the return date and move on. That’s by far the worst customer service I have experienced. Perhaps good manners should be part of training for the entire personnel of this store.

Fun place for parents and grandparents, in my case, to buy quality stuff for budding trendsetters. Aly and her staff are very accomodating.

I got this beautiful swim suite for my daughter and wanted to exchange it for different size. Drove 40min since on google it's said the store it's open... and guess what? The store it's closed on Thursday (regular day). Sorry Sprouts... you should be putting Holiday hours on google and on your store front as well.
