I went to Tesla Highland Park to test drive some cars. I had interacted with three salespeople and when I was finished the third salesperson Diane approached me to discuss the process of purchasing a vehicle. I felt rushed.I had some detailed questions on the optimal charging setup at my houses but Diane kept suggesting I go with the cheaper adapter even though it takes longer to charge it. I felt she lacked the technical knowledge to discuss charging options. Similarly Diane explained to drive forward I pull the lever down twice and to reverse pull it twice up… WRONG! I bought the car and it’s a single pull for each forward/reverse, so Diane really did not know how to operate the Tesla.When I reserved the car and the app has said estimated delivery is Aug 29-Sept 4. But I received an email to schedule delivery and the only options I had were Aug 28-30! Well, I was out of town and I would not be able to do that. So I contacted Diane.Diane sent me a short email “I wasn’t aware you were planning a vacation” and that’s when I realized she failed to communicate the details of the delivery process!Then Diane explained that I must pick up the car within a 2-day period or else I need to get another car and she doesn’t know what that would happen! What?I will not cancel my vacation because Tesla can’t coordinate with clients their schedule, especially that I’m given the 3 days outside of the estimated delivery dates!This was my experience with Tesla before even buying the car, I was getting very discouraged. Now I read other reviews about this dealership and the low-rated reviews reflect the mismanaged situation at that place. I do hope other locations are better, but for their sales person not to know how to drive Tesla was a surprise.

Just had a really horrible interaction with the sales people at this location. Luckily the service guys came to my rescue... I also experienced a poor interaction with the sales people when I purchased the car and I think unfortunately this is just par for the course with Tesla. They refused to remove the plates from my vehicle that I fully paid for. Luckily the service guys drove by and noticed me struggling and were nice enough to take them off for me. They were even confused about why the sales guys were being such jerks.There were new buyers in the lobby that were trading in a vehicle and the sales people were making the new buyers collect information and pictures from their old car. I don't know if this is all of Tesla or just this location but it puts a bad taste in your mouth when you're buying an expensive vehicle and being treated like a number.

Tons of cars ready to be purchased. The service department is and has been responsive and always ready to help out. The lounge area is nicer and inviting and also appreciate the separate room with things to do for the kids like coloring books and the like.Free coffee visa Kuerig is always nice as well.

We had such an amazing experience shopping for our new Tesla Y Model. Waldo was extremely helpful and professional, he made the entire test driving & shopping experience worthwhile! We couldn't be happier!

Management is to blame for the lack of communication for the customer. They use there mechanics as pawns while they sit back and do nothing to improve communication between the customers and mechanics. Make Tesla a Union and maybe workers would feel safe working for such a toxic company.

If you want to use there auto shop dont bother,big time lack of communications and that is only for a tire patch i dont whant to think if you need bigger repairs and the prices- you dont want to know too!

Diane and Mario at the Highland Park location were great to work with. Both Mario and Diane were very informative and answered all of our questions with enthusiasm and professionalism.We first came here to test drive a model 3. We arrived an hour early for our test drive to see if we could be accommodated. Unfortunately the testModel was out for a drive but Mario was able to get me in a model 3 as soon as it arrived back to the demo center (30 min earlier than our schedule appointment.) we were given a quick explanation of the Model 3 and were released into the wild. The test drive went great as we were able to take it on local streets as well as the highway. The fact that we were on our own made the test drive experience better as we weren’t stressed out by a salesperson present. On our return, we wanted to just sit in the Model Y to see how spacious it was compared to the M3 and we were surprised that we were able to test drive the MY without a reservation. Needless to say, the test drive with the MY would be the exclamation point and sold us on the MY.While we did not purchase and deliver at the Highland Park location, we did test drive multiple times and each time was a great experience! (I actually came back for a test drive with my dad and that was with Diane, who was great to work with).Thanks for the great experience!

I wanted to send a special shout out to Rohan in service!! Even though my car had issues and made me frustrated I am very happy that Rohan was there to help me. He is a very approachable person and listened to all of my concerns. I felt that he was genuinely interested in getting everything fixed for me. This is the first time that I had this experience with someone in service. He also ensured to answer all of my questions (I tend to ask too many) and his attitude continued to stay positive and genuine the entire time! His follow up communication was also excellent as he kept me in the loop on the status of my car.After several visits to the highland park service center I would actively look for Rohan to help me because I knew that he cared!!!Thank you Rohan!!!!

Fast and easy delivery, Mario answered all my questions and pulled my car around early. Service helped me get the correct charger plug adapter.

Worst service EVER! Our X needed to have doors calibrated. Took the car here & they said it would take a COUPLE DAYS in the shop. GO TO LIBERTYVILLE! they fixed it in 10 mins!

Big thank you to the service team!Had the car serviced here a number of times. Every experience is just awesome. The service techs are super friendly, helpful, honest, and responsive. The service is quick. The sales folks inside are awesome too.I've got nothing but good things to say.

I went to the dealership to lease a Tesla model three. After test driving, I met with Mario to run the numbers. He told me with my trade-in, my monthly payments would be $434. He then told me I needed to pay a deposit of $250 to hold the car. I asked if the payment information he gave me was correct and final, and he said yes, $434 is the final monthly payment. I agreed to pay the deposit. The next day on the Tesla app it showed my monthly payment as $461. Additionally, it said I would need to bring nearly $5500 more in order to pick up the car. I left two voicemails with the dealership to go over the numbers again but no one returned my calls. I drove back to the dealership the following business day. I was told that they were no longer going to give me the same amount for my trade-in and that is what changed the amount I owed at signing. Mario said there was nothing he could do. I told him I wanted to cancel the transaction. I asked for my deposit back and he refused. He completely lied to me and then kept my $250 deposit. Total B.S.

Mario, Mario, Mario. Where did you learn your customer service skills? I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely terrible customer service from Mario. We called about cancellation policies and told Mario we would call back if we were going to cancel, but they went ahead and cancelled the order. Additionally, we weren’t even informed of the cancellation. We only figured it out after opening the app and seeing that our order was no longer there and then had to call to see what was going on. Then Mario refused to return the order fee even though it was an error on his end. As a business, I would think they would want to make this right in any capacity, but Mario unapologetically maintained his stance and essentially told us we were SOL and it’s a his word against ours insinuating that we were lying. We have never been treated by a business with such entitlement, condescension, apathy, and lack of respect. Hopefully the manager can somehow right this wrong, but I’m not holding my breath based on other reviews about this place. Get your car elsewhere.
