My brothers and I were on our way back to Indiana from a family funeral in Missouri when my tires started showing belts and the stability of my truck felt compromised. Nobody could help us.... Nobody except the kind folks at Lou Fusz Ford of Highland. They understood that we had already been through a lot and needed to get home. They went above and beyond and I just want to say God bless you all and I from the bottom of my heart I thank you.

Integrity- That is what I found at this dealership yesterday. We relied on Ryan to send us detailed pictures and videos since we were coming from WI. Ryan was honest and we felt very comfortable throughout the process. I apologize but forgot the name of the gentleman who valued our trade-in but he too was informative and fair. Mike handled the paperwork and again, all was exactly as we were told before we got there. No surprises, just an honest and great experience. We thank you all for being so personable and for making this purchase an absolute joy!!

I bought a car from Dom a few days ago and I love it. Dom and the manager Mike were super helpful in purchasing this vehicle smoothest purchase of a vehicle I've ever had. Overall I would recommend buying from them. I spent a few months finding this car and I'm glad I waited on this one.

I had to have my car towed to Lou Fuze on August 25th, it had been previously diagnosed with having a transmission problem on the Friday before. Went up there to turn in my paperwork on Tuesday the 26th. Got a call from the service advisor on Wednesday the 27th stating that they diagnosed my car again and said it was my front cylinders. Not my transmission. (Which I was excited to hear because I was already freaking out thinking I was going to have to pay for a new transmission) I asked him how soon they could have my car done by, he answers early Friday afternoon. Fast forward to Thursday the 28th and I got a notification from my Ford app that my transmission was locked in park. So I called to talk to the same guy I have been communicating with, he was gone for the day, so I asked if he could just call me Friday morning. Well Friday the 29th he never called so I called to see what the problem was. He told me they changed the cylinders and went to test drive my car, and ended up locking my transmission in park. Mind you, my car was drivable before, just in low drive mode. But could tell between gear one and two it would hesitate. I was told that I could pay $6100 for a new transmission, but I needed to get a new transmission. I don’t understand why one place said my car blew 6 codes for the transmission but when it came to the ford dealership it wasn’t my transmission at all, and my cylinders never came up on the first diagnostic reading. Mind you my car was only 4 years old. I paid $800 for them to not even fix my problem but make it to my car wasn’t even drivable . So they got my money, for the cylinder work and labor and parts which is dumb because it wasn’t even my cylinders that were the problem. If your a female bring someone in who knows vehicles so you don’t get taken advantage of. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with this company anymore.

I bought a vehicle from this location in January 2024. When looking at finance options I was told they would run credit through 1 bank. After I ran a credit report, I found 4 hard credit hits. This was not authorized and a complete loss of trust. Do not trust them to finance your loan as it may have unexpected consequences.
Update 8/20/25: To date, no one has reached out about fraudulently running my credit with 4 different companies.

I feel a bit mixed as I leave this review, but overall my experience with Lou fusz in highland has left a poor taste in my mouth.
To start, everyone was very polite and even helpful when it came to finding a new vehicle. When it got down to talking numbers and the paper work, the mood started to shift. Their finance manager was a little rude at times, making statements that paying in cash means nothing and downplaying the cost. He was very rude when discussing price and rates. It all felt very greedy. After everything was finalized, they could not care less about me as a customer. They quickly moved on to the next person before I had even left.
I drove off in my new vehicle and went home, to which I found that the second key they gave me was cracked and busted. I called them within about 15 minutes of leaving and mentioned this as it was one of the selling points of the vehicle. I specifically asked about a second key, so it seems suspicious that they would wait to give me that one just as I was leaving. They replied saying they can’t do anything but they could work a deal with me on a new key (not a deal) and quoted me $370 to replace.
Although I’m happy with my vehicle, I’m less than enthused about how they handled certain things. If you decide to go here, remain diligent and aware as they will try cutting corners any chance they get.

Chad Bade and the folks at this dealership made this the easiest buying experience with a vehicle we have ever had. Being from Texas, we bought vehicles from out of state dealers before and this was by far the easiest and most professional purchase to date. We flew to St Louis and were promptly picked up by a gentleman from Lou Fusz, instead of the cost of uber or rental car to us. During paper work there was no 4hr interrogation to upsell anything(GREATLY appreciated), just shown a list of offerings and when we declined there was zero animosity. From A-Z these guys were fantastic. After leaving, we also recieved a few follow up calls from Chad over the next few days/week. When we look for our next vehicle we will call Chad first.

One of the best experiences in purchasing a use vehicle at a dealership. In and out in about an hour and a half. Worked with Stephanie and Mike and both were professional and knowledgeable and low pressure.
My only criticism is that we talked about a free oil change (30% oil life left) didn't happen and it didn’t come with a full tank of gas (80 miles left). Perhaps car dealerships aren’t offering a full tank anymore but it’s a nice gesture.
Overall great experience! Would recommend.
Update: Stephanie reached out about the oil change and the gas and is going to follow up on the oil change and fill the tank up. Happy for the positive outcome! Thanks.

Until recently Fusz was our place for service in regards to our 2014 ford escape. Of late we’ve experienced an issue with our cooling system.
I dropped my car off to address the situation, I had the escape serviced and the cooling system worked on. Within a couple of weeks warning lights were flashing & the vehicle would not run . I had the car towed back to Fuse.
Within 2 days I received a call from fuszs service dept , bad news - I was informed my car had a cracked block & antifreeze was found mixed in the the engines oil.
I was told they could install a new engine for 7 to 10 thousand dollars . That was not an option. So I inquired what I could get if I traded it in . I was told somewhere between $200.00 & $500.00.
I decided to take the car to a local mechanic who was willing to install a salvage yard motor for less than $5000.00.
Within a couple days I got a call from my mechanic . I was informed there was no cracked head or block, nor was there coolant in the motor oil . They found a bad sensor & gasket . They charged me $845.00!which included tow. Got the car back & it’s running just fine.
Final note - I attempted to speak to a mgr. I spoke to a salesman who assured me I would get a call from a manager . I did not receive a call.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have never left a review, I’m just not that kind of person. But this place is trash and should not be in business. We took our vehicle in for a recall. After getting the run around we get two recalls done on our vehicle. One is for corrosion fuel tank. We have never had issues with our vehicle and it’s a 2008. Ran amazing for the miles and age. After having to call them a day after they said our car would be done or get us a loaner. I pick up the car and immediately runs rough at idle. Less than 24 hours later the check engine light comes on for a bad number 1 fuel injector. They refuse to say changing out the fuel tank and putting the fuel from the old tank back in the new one it has nothing to do with the recall they fixed. Mind you they broke off rusty bolts and the flex pipe when doing this recall. After fighting them tooth and nail talking to ford they refused to cover anything at least. They charged us $700 for one fuel injector and two pig tails. They also returned my car to me after all this from a quarter tank to our gas light on. Now the car has been back with us for two weeks and the oil light just came on and the check engine light is back on. This place is a joke and disgusting.
