Walgreens offers a pretty standard drug store experience with a decent selection. The pharmacy is very helpful, with staff described as friendly, hardworking, and willing to go above and beyond. However, the store is often understaffed, leading to slow service with only one cashier open even when busy. Despite this, the helpful and kind staff make for a much better experience than average.
Mickey at the Walgreens in Highwood, IL is super helpful. She pointed me in the direction of the ear plugs I needed without missing a beat. I was in a hurry and she helped me get in and out very fast. Thank you, Mickey!!
