“I'm staying here for business and it's a pretty central location. My room is pretty comfortable, just wish the pillows were a little firmer for me personally. Within walking distance, there's a Super Target and a bunch of places to eat. Really wish there was a hot breakfast here. I'm not a fan of continental breakfast..
Update.. I did find the hotel part of breakfast on my last day here...”
“This is one amazing place! The owner and all her heloer artists were incredible. Very helpful and knowledgeable, always available to help or just answer a question.
This was our first time here and at the end of the day we had all agreed that its our go to painting place!

“Took my granddaughter there for a birthday party it was a nice place even though their arcade area was very small and it was limited games but otherwise they enjoyed themselves”

“I go to car related events .This place has improved with the world of wheels over the years. I still miss the lowrider hopping contest they used to have when it was at Mccormick Place. Maybe one day they'll bring that back”
“Very nice staff. We have our event once a year and they're always very attentive and have everything ready for the event to run smoothly. The coffee they put out Is delicious.”
“Nice food selection. Some of the hot food was cold but I blame that on inconsiderate customers who don't close the warming trays after retrieving their portions. The serving staff was very attentive and prompt with serving us.”
“I really enjoy taking evening walks here in their walking path. Plenty of families here with their kids playing or participating in their favorite sport. In the summer time they have music in the park with live bands playing today’s hits or old time favorites. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music.”
“Was here for a wedding. The place is huge. Could use a revamp because it's old and noticeable. The woman's restroom is up the stairs and they are kind of steep. It's big and had 3 stalls. The men's is on the main floor. Of you need a big plane for 200+ people then this is it but don't expect an updated look. Parking isn't that great either.”
“I was there for a friend's birthday celebration. It was an exquisite event. The space spoke of her impeccable taste, and the food on the menu was scrumptious. Check out the pics and hopefully the video.

“It was a great intimate space for a gathering the have an outdoor space also which is a plus. The kitchen area was clean. They had ample amount of tables and chairs. Parking of course is street parking but spots were available within the block.”

“We recently held a post funeral dinner service at Elmcrest Banquets, and I cannot say enough about the professionalism and compassion of the entire staff. The space was beautifully prepared and thoughtfully arranged to create a warm and comforting atmosphere for my family and my guests. They have two parking lots to handle overflow of guests. The food was beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend.”
“Nice place, food was great. Only negative is the air freshener.....I know that sounds strange. But, it was very overpowering and smelled like a woman wearing a very potent perfume. Thought perhaps it was a woman who over sprayed, but the smell was in every room. It gave me a headache, to be honest”

“One of my very favorite hotel. Great location, room and staff, from hotel shuttle driver, front desk, restaurant and housekeeping. I’m sad when I’m in town and they’re sold out which happens quite often. I love staying at this hotel.”
“As bowling alleys are falling 1 by 1 regularly, this center does a good job taking care of the lanes and machines while upgrading everything else and staying Modern. Managed well with reasonable prices. Great for league, open bowling and parties.”

“Rented a party room for my daughter's bday.... great facility, but they are slow returning your security deposit. They guy says you'll get it in 7 days after your event, but he doesn't mail it until like the 7 day”
“We were told they only take drinks from the west side of the bar. They service is bad, they don't offer to help. They ran out of the liquor we were drinking. The.waitress”
“Very nice banquet hall. It's not the largest, but it fit our party of 180 with some room to spare. The food was delicious and service was really good. The atmosphere was beautiful. Recommended.”
“I attended a special event at the Mansion with Geoffrey Baer for WTTW. The place is very cool. Some of the rooms have been restored to their original furnishings and some are bare. The library, chapel, and hidden staircase are highlights of the mansion. The weather was not good for outdoor activities on the day of my visit, but the grounds are nice and would make a great place for a walk on a nice day.”
“Absolutely loved this place. They have a gallery in the museum where you can purchase the art and support local artists. The gallery is free to enter, but the art exhibits (side from the outside art) require an entrance fee. They change out the art every couple of months.”
“Sokol is so cool. I was a member of Sokol Tabor when I was a kid. My mother in law has always been in Sokol her whole life. My kids will be entering tumbling tots come registration period. It's a family fitness gym, activities include: competetive volleyball, gymnastics, calisthenics, dance and more. I camped at Sokol camp as a youth in upstate New York. You make life long friends, memories and connections through this amazing orginization. Czech it out ;)”
“We had a small gathering here at the gallery for an event unrelated to the usual art happenings in the gallery. This is space that serves for community and creativity. The exhibitions are vibrant. The gallery staff and art itself engage the patrons at every event.”
“Jumps and Jiggles is one of our favorite places. Lots of indoor play climbing sliding jumping "helicopters" and the nonstop carousel. 10am - 2pm Monday - Friday. And only $6!
Just going on the carousel a few times and it's worth the cost of admission.”

Everything about this hotel from the art, antiques, decor, elegance and amazing hospitality & service, is ten star!! “We recently hosted our Son's 4th birthday party at BIG and it was a huge hit! We had 30 kids under the age of 8 and the staff was so accommodating to all ages! So many parents said it was one of the best birthday party venues they have been to and that after, their kids asked to have their party there too. We will definitely be back!”
