Aquarium Adventure is a store with a great variety of fish, plants, wood, and corals, featuring a huge array and possibly 60-70 various size tanks. It has a nice selection, particularly of African cichlids and livebearers. The fish area is in a darker section of the store, which brings out the beauty of the fish, and every type of fish seems to be only with its own kind. The store also has a section dedicated to other pets like parakeets, turtles, and rabbits. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and patient, with advice coming from a deep rooted passion for aquatic life. Kids love coming to see the animals. However, some bettas look tiny and sickly and are kept in small containers. The store can be a bit pricey when fish are not on sale, and there is a concern that fish should be quarantined before sale, as some may not survive. The annual or lifetime membership is a good deal and worth it for those with multiple tanks or who plan to be in the hobby a while, offering savings for buying many fish and plants.
