Rooms: Renovated. Nice rooms. Bed is not comfortable
Nearby activities: What do you need? You have everything
Safety: All doors secured. Staff around to assist as needed
Walkability: All well within proximity
Food and drinks: Did not try.. Starbucks on site closes during peak hours?
Noteworthy details: Renovation still in progress. Give it some time, this would turn into a good place for Greater Chicago.

The location being close to the Now Arena was great and there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. However, pretty disappointed in everything else, especially with this being a Marriott hotel. For one, their coffee shop doesn't open until 7, which is super inconvenient for early risers. Their gym is super small and doesn't even have a water fountain. Don't think I've ever seen a hotel gym without water. Good luck also finding ice because the machine on the third floor didn't work. The whole hotel seemed like it needed some updating done on the interior. Staff were pretty friendly and helpful, though.

Worst experience. The staff are unprofessional, not trained and have a REALLY hard time understanding anything at all. We had a card on file for checking and without asking they went ahead and charged my other card the full amount of the room. That resulted in both cards having a hold and wasn’t able to get a refund back from 3 days. All the money we had for our trip was held by this stupid hotel. I asked for a manager and apparently they had none that night and coincidentally none the whole weekend. Also you need to pay for wifi 6$ a day LOL cheapos and they don’t even include breakfast.

We always stay here when in Illinois. Always have a great experience.
They have remodeled this hotel and I am a big fan of the hardwood floors, I am really liking the new decor. And of course the same great customer service.

Worked with this location for my wedding block. I was hesitant after reading reviews but our venue recommended them and said they promised new reliable shuttle service. They ended up doing a good job with everything. There were bumps in the road because they switched over business managers and didn’t notify couples with blocks, so I didn’t have a contact or any responses for a while when I sent emails to the old one. Finally a new manager responded. I asked to confirm everything in my signed contract from the old manager with the new manager, but said he had to look at it. I was concerned because a signed contract is a signed contract, but he eventually said all would be honored. Leading up to the day, I was in touch with Lucio and Tim and they were helpful. Lucio personally called me a few times after I had some concerns with logistics and he was great. Day of, they handed out our welcome bags we made to (most) of our guests, we had at least 15 left over when we only made 4 extra. They had 3 weddings that weekend on the same day and the shuttles went very smoothly. Most, but not all my guests, had updated renovated rooms. They are in the middle of a major renovation project and the updated rooms look great. The get ready room was very old for the morning of our wedding, but it worked for the hours we had it. Overall, good experience and all that was in my contract was honored. The location is great, there are a lot of options for things to do in the surrounding area.

Older Marriott ..imagine I felt that I was staying in a motel rather than a hotel.. started with the bathroom no slippers no toothbrush and a paste .. woke up at an early hour in the morning for maintenance work was being conducted in a next door room ( hammer and drill) what a joke

Seems it is always under construction, but the top two floors are done now and my last day was exceptionally nice.

Ms Fadia an employee at breakfast comes to my table and explains to me what the gratuity line on my bill is meant for. She bluntly tells me to add gratuity for a self serve buffet breakfast. Gosh! Is this greed, arrogance, shamelessness our newest American money grab culture. Whatever it is, it does reflect poorly on this hotel and its management.
Also be aware that the city of Chicago adds 3% surcharge to your food bill. The Covid era supplement has not dropped. And they expect a 20% tip on this inflated amount plus tax. Effectively you are paying an additional 34% on your food bill. Wolves on Main Street!

This was my second time staying here for work. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The newly renovated rooms are nicely done and they feel very fresh. The bathrooms are nice and spacious. I will stay here again on a future visit.

First time visiting and putting on an event at the Chicago Marriott Northwest. Great service and hospitality. Event went smoothly and attendees complimented the look and feel of the hotel. Location is great - right next to a large shopping center and restaurants. Anything you need is within walking distance.

Rooms were decent, enjoyable. Service was great, Fadia made sure we were taken care of completely during breakfast. She is as well very kind and welcoming as if it was our own house. I will be looking forward to coming back to this hotel again
