VERN, Tina, Ray, Magaly...all excellent staff at Hoffman Estates branch, IMMEDIATE and helpful during my recent online breach. I had left some security doors open and they swiftly got on my security issue and resolved it, taught me how to "do it better" in a compassionate way. Beyond pleased~

Don’t go to this bank mainly due to Natasha Palmer she wears attitude on her sleeve. you got there it feels like she is doing a big favor to you. it is her job to help customers but not this lady she is very mean and rude

I walked in to open a new account account using my lunch break, I stayed for approximately 15 minutes and no one asked me nothing except on my way out. I was the only one there during the waiting time.

We took out a LOC, a year ago. Margaret the bank representative told me the following:No closing fees if auto payNo pre-payoff penalty.I specifically told her we would most likely be paying it off in a year. She told me not a problem just write a check for the 100,000.00 LOC and closed or keep it open in case you need future money. She has moved to another First American bank. Terri Butler now told us we have to pay prepayment penalty of $1000. These reps talk out of both sides of their mouths. Make sure you read the contact and call them out on their lies. Then leave, do not do business with them. Then to top it off Terri admitted that I would be getting $364 back once the paperwork went through. My wife told them to close out the account when she paid off the loan (101,000.00). We received a $500 check in the mail a month later. When we asked why $500 and not $364, they said because the account was not closed. Now she’s stating because of her mistake, not closing the account we won’t be getting any pre paid interest $364 back. I will be posting this on all social media platforms and sending letter to management. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH First American (period)??

I can go anywhere for banking services. The one thing that determines where I do business is customer service. I can assure you that, if you require excellent service, you will find it at First American Bank in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. From my first phone conversation, (yes, you actually speak with a HUMAN !) through every transaction, I was treated as a valued customer. This level of service is seldom found. Bravo, First America Bank! You have a new very happy customer!
