What attracted me to this bank was the friendly staff. While some of my favorites may have changed over the years, one constant is that the staff remains very knowledgeable and pleasant. Presently, my new favorite is Cheryl Miller at the HE Community Bank on Palatine Rd. Great job Cheryl!

Their online site is terrible. It is so hard to log in. And there is no way to unlock or change password unless you call their support who are only available during certain business hours. It's just painful. I can never get in from the website, I can't get in from quickbooks, and their hours are inconvenient so going to a. location is hard. If you want to bank with Wintrust banks such is Hoffman Est. Community, be prepared to work with a dinosaur bank. And they don't plan on updating their online apps anytime soon I found out from the support.
