I'm not the person to write a review but I was very disappointed when I went there. I been going to petland and aquarium adventures since they open. I haven't been there for a year. I went in there this weekend to see how it was. I can't believe how bad this place became. There was nothing on the shelves on both sides. The store was disgusting. You can tell that kids run the store than adults. The fish side was horrible. The fish tanks don't even look cleaned. The employees just stand around and do nothing. One of them was on the phone while working. How is this allow???? This place need re make over or shut down. Don't hesitate to go in the store and go somewhere else.

This is a wonderful place. My husband and I were deciding between adopting another furball or another feathery friend.. a red factor conure stole our hearts almost immediately and shortly after Erin came over and assisted us. It was our first time here and she made the experience great. This place is great because the pets are in open spaces so they are socialized well! The animals are happy to interact with people and are happier than other places who keep their pets isolated behind glass and away from each other and visitors.
I have been to many pet stores and have been to specific bird places.. this one takes the cake. (I’ve never had such a happy bird so quickly!)
I overheard staff (namely Eric and Manager Victoria) advising people on pets that are appropriate given living situations and experience levels - they REALLY care about the animals and finding a good fit for people (to avoid having a return situation).
Most places don’t care and just sell an animal without a thought or any questions - here they will speak with you to figure out what’s the best fit for you and for the animal. (Please don’t be offended or go somewhere else because they advise you against what you want - they know what’s best here.)
I really enjoyed being able to interact with multiple different pets and being introduced to some of the larger parrots they had.
The staff also know everything about each animal. This place cares and these animals are in good hands.
My husband and I found our forever go-to-place!
Side note: could possibly be pricey for birds/animals but they’re the most SOCIALIZED pets you’ll come to find from a store - it’s 100% worth every penny.

I was moving and had several fish that were healthy but couldn’t be taken with me. I was able to give them to Petland to be rehomed.

Staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. I left with all the information needed to care for my new guniea pig. I even went back for a second one!

They allow little kids to handle their mammals and birds (conures, hamsters, rabbits, ferrets, etc.) Without supervision. I saw multiple little kids holding the clearly stressed hamsters in harmful ways, and one even dropped a hamster. Unethical. Don't support.

A great place to take the kids for a little adventure. There are animals that you can hold and rare and interesting fish and reptiles to observe (and hold depending on the reptile). The staff are happy to educate kids and adults about how to hold the animals safely.

I purchased my Puppy from this location on 8/17/2025. Took him straight to the vet on Tuesday 8/19/25. He tested positive for giardia, and most likely now has kennel cough too. I paid 4K for this puppy and you would figure the dog would be healthy and handled with care. Unbelievable. Do not get any animals from this place. They should close it down for animal abuse. My poor puppy should not be suffering like this ever! CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN NOW!

Slowly becoming a puppy mill. This used to be a great place to pick up supplies for aquatic animals or otherwise but we cannot support mills trying to come back after we fought to get rid of them.
