I've been coming to Rue 62 since 2013, when we first moved to the neighborhood right behind it. Seven yrs later, we moved to Elgin, but I happily make the drive up to north Hoffman Estates because I refuse to risk someone else ruining my hair. My stylist, Jenna, is nothing sort of incredible. Over the years, she's not only nailed my color every single time, but she's also become someone I consider a friend. Like most stylist she's part artist, part therapist, and knows my life story.
Jenna's attention to detail is unmatched. She always listens, understands exactly what I want, even when I'm being too picky and recommends styles and products that actually work for me and my frizzy aging hair.
I trust her completely and I walk out feeling amazing every time. If you're looking for a stylist to truly gets it, Jenna is the one. Rue 62 is worth the trip!

Domenica did such a great job on transforming my hair back to its natural color! Did a trim and style as well. We went from a pink peekaboo to my natural color and she did amazing. The atmosphere was good vibes only & a very aesthetically pleasing salon. Book your next hair appointment here you won’t be disappointed! (See below for before and after photos)

Mia has been doing my hair for years now and I can confidently say she’s one of the most talented people i know. Im constantly amazed by what she does with my hair and I would highly recommend going to her for any color service you will not be disappointed 🙌

Mia is such a Talented hairstylist and she did such an amazing job! I’ve been to her for highlights (AMAZING!!) and I just had to go back another time to get some color done (once again AMAZING!!) HIGHLY recommend making an appointment with her. I feel so amazing every time I leave her chair!

Today I saw Mia to get my hair cut after almost a year of not getting anything done. I hadn’t been taking care of it and it was super overgrown and thick. But when I left today it was lighter, styled perfectly, and exactly what I wanted. Mia was so kind and very great to engage in conversation, and I no doubt would go back again a million times to have her do my hair!

My hair was a train wreck after a bad haircut and color. Daylie transformed the uneven cut into the look I really wanted AND she fixed the wonky color like an artist with a beautiful mix of high- and low-lights. I love the hair, but I also love that Daylie moves like lightning, so I wasn't there forever even with a full bayalage. And, as an added plus, she is super friendly and I enjoyed chatting as she worked. Will definitely be seeing her again!

Great curly cut! Thank you so much for a nice experience, Daylie & Rue 62 salon! It's rare that I leave a haircut without feeling a bit emo, but this cut was exactly what I needed, and nothing I didn't.

Had a great experience for my first visit to Rue 62! Nora at reception is the sweetest and my stylist, Dee was awesome! We went over my wishes, and she gave some input and asked good questions. When she was done creating and styling, my hair looked better and healthier than it had in years! Still loving the cut two weeks later! I will definitely be returning!

I wanted a new look and Daylie delivered! I've gotten so many compliments and absolutely love every haircut I've gotten from her! The salon is very clean and covid conscious. It's easy to make appointments and they always send reminders prior to the appointment. Thanks so much!

This is a fantastic salon. Each visit goes very smoothly, they are safety conscious and proactive about communicating if there are any issues with appointments. Easy to track appointments with auto text notifications. Daylie is a wonderful stylist and they also have a good selection of hair care products for sale.
