“So far, I've experienced steak tacos and chicken enchiladas on two separate visits on their restaurant side. Both exceeded my expectations. The tacos and enchiladas were fresh, spot on in the flavor department, and protein packed. The horchata is excellent and the staff are friendly and attentive. Overall, this is a great little hidden treasure within a supermarket. Highly recommended!”

“1 million ? is not enough. The moment I walked in, the gentleman & his lovely wife greeted me with warmth and sincere smile. As I shopped around, I found everything I was looking for, hoping for, even more and better than I've expected. Since I moved to the suburbs, I was looking around to find an authentic middle eastern one stop for everything and that is my go to home from now on. Once I got to the register, the owners couple were so kind and asked if it's my first time at theirs, I asked when do they get fresh bread and they said: daily ❤️, the gentleman surprised me with a free bag of bread as a gift. I am so touched by their kindness, mannerism and class. I left extremely satisfied and deeply appreciative of both, the oweners' demeanor and the store's goods and setting. Can't wait for my next shopping escape to that adorable place.”
“As a frequent DoorDasher, it becomes inconvenient when I’m unable to find all the items that I need today, however was a nice change. Both Trevor and Ken were equally an integral part in helping me deliver the most efficient order with 100% accurate items. Each of these two employees were able to find items that I had actually replaced and I was able to use those as the original item to help the customer get the exact order correct. Thank you both for being strong leaders. Since it’s opening, this location has been dominant part in helping the local community get high quality groceries they need at an affordable price. There are two Jewel Osco Food Stores in Lake Zurich less than a mile from each other. This one on Ela Rd & Hwy 22 has been there for a long time and is my very favorite.
Everyone is SO nice!”

Also, returns are very friendly and allow store credit for replacement or new find. Thank you so much for a positive experience each time I visit!”
“This Meijer is huge and I've never seen it busy, even on the weekends! The grocery side of the store can get a little busy but the center household/clothing section and the home improvement section on the other side is always empty. If you walk around for long enough you'll start finding the secret clearance sections!”

“When your in the mood for tacos, this place is the BEST around!! They keep changing the prices, now it's $2.50 each but it's well worth it. The portion size of the taco is loaded, since it's not a resturant. There are no tables & you order your tacos at the back of the store where they sell the meat. Love ? coming to this place for some Mexican tacos.”
“This shop pretty much has all the required Indian grocery items . They even have smaller packets of raw rice , boiled rice which is not the case with some other shops in the vicinity . They have a lot of veggies , and fruits too . They also have fresh snacks and sweets . Would definitely recommend this shop .!!”
“I want to thank the manager Zach for reaching out. Very professional. I simply happened to have a Starbucks pour over that didn't reach temperature so it ended up watery. As for other reviews commenting on price. There's unique products at each grocery store. Some you goto just for that. If you like cheap shop at aldi or pick n save. If you goto Marianos or Whole foods you could say they're high as well. But no. They all over their own benefits. Strawberry shortcake and steaks are 2 of my favorites from Jewel.”
