Clothes selection is sparse if you leave your house. Maybe if you jog or watch TV for a living it would be ok.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a retail store. My wife and I took our son here originally to get school clothes and a backpack. We stopped by the cologne to find a decent one and continue our shopping. Anyone who likes cologne (like myself) wants to smell it first to make sure it’s good….apparently NOT here because the woman behind the counter came over and said in a rude and degrading way “we don’t have testers so you can’t spray these as we have to sell them” which yeah I get that you sell them hence why I’m her (meanwhile half the bottles are empty or tops are broken off anyway). But then she goes back behind the counter and whispers something to another older woman who then looks back at us. They continued to watch us the whole time we were there. At that point I just said let’s just go somewhere else, so all in all this store lost out on at least $500 just from me because that woman saw a young black family and apparently thought we couldn’t afford the stuff! I will NEVER go back to this place!

My mom purchased a candle here and when she lit it, the candle holder glass shattered.
I brought the candle back for a refund but also because I wanted to let the store know how dangerous this was - the lady who "helped" me was incredibly rude and dismissive, saying they couldn't take it because it was used already.
Went to a different TJ Maxx and they happily helped me and heard out my concerns.

Bad experience I had purchased a helloKitty cream was charged for it but never got it. Got in the car saw it wasn’t in my bag so I went back to see if I had dropped it and it wasn’t in sight it was never placed in my bag.

I always come to this TJ.Maxx. Because I can’t ever find anything in the ones in the Chicagoland area. I shop for my friends since they can’t drive this far and I loved the Steve Maiden variety this location has. They have several brands and a huge variety.

Two Indian lady cashiers took forever to work with a same customer and made everyone wait?! IT’s was a long line. Come on
