Hair Nightmare: A Disappointing Experience at Ulta Beauty Salon
I trusted Anita, the stylist, to deliver the seamless bronze hair color I had envisioned. Unfortunately, the result was a patchy and inconsistent color, with the top being overly bright and awkward dark spots scattered throughout.
When Anita suggested a toner to fix the mishap, she failed to mention any additional costs initially. Considering the error was on her side, it felt incredibly unfair to be charged extra for the corrective toner. Disappointingly, even after applying the toner, my hair still didn't resemble the desired bronze look.
Anita admitted the outcome wasn’t as planned and offered to bleach my hair at no extra cost. However, she later retracted that promise, claiming her manager objected to the free service—a frustrating development given that the problems were due to her initial mistake.
The next day, when I called the store and explained my situation to Lucy, I was told I needed to pay full price for another appointment. After requesting a refund, Lucy, with a less than welcoming attitude, promised to inform the manager, who would supposedly call me back. Frustratingly, that call never came, leaving me feeling ignored and undervalued as a customer.
This whole experience has left a terrible taste in my mouth. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority for this salon, as I’ve neither received the hair fix nor the refund I was entitled to. I am extremely disappointed and unlikely to return to this establishment. If you care about your hair and your money, I'd advise looking elsewhere for hair services.

Very helpful . Didn't make me feel bad trying to find a new scent it was fun .Gucci the pink one and Soo many more. The associate made it fun giving me advice and listening to my preferences. She was VERY CONFIDENT AND VERY INFORMATIVE OF ALL THE PERFUMES AND EVEN COLOGNES. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPARED TO ALOT OF PLACES THESES DAYS UNFORTUNATLY. I WISH I cud remember her name .the best experience I've had in awhile!!

Went to this location today to do a return w/ no receipt on an item that was unfortunately a tester. With this item being originally purchased at a different location I understand doing a return gets tricky. The cashier went out of her way to help me and saved me a long trip to the city. I didn’t get the cashier’s name but she was very polite and helpful despite how busy it was. Thanks 🩷!

This Ulta feels larger than other locations in Chicagoland but I don''t know if it actually is. This location is always clean and well stocked and the employees are always very helpful. We've never seen this location be super busy, even if we visit on the weekend.
We seem to find better deals in this location's clearance section than other Ulta's as well. There's tons of parking here as it's located inside of a large shopping center. You can come here and walk right over to Target without even having to move your car.

I had an appointment today at 5 and left at 5:30 after being ignored by the stylist while she was on a FaceTime call with her boyfriend. I felt like because it was just a bang trim and she didn’t want to do it because it wasn’t high value enough for her. Didn’t even acknowledge me! I’ve had bad experiences here before and decided to give it one more try. AWFUL customer service!
