I usually go to the Kenwood in Oak Lawn but I was out that way so I stopped in. It's a nice store but it seems smaller than Oak Lawn. The prices were generally higher than Oak Lawn but they were offset by the lower taxes. The selection was smaller too. I expected the same pricing as Oak Lawn so it was a bit disappointing to just break even with the lower taxes. I had hoped to save a couple of bucks. I don't understand why the prices are higher in Homer Glenn. If you're out there it's a good place to go. If you're not it's not worth making a special trip.
