“I ALSO hit a pothole on I-57 (southbound exit off 1-80 going east) that took out two of my tires and bent one rim. Pulled my car right behind a Legend Towing driver who was loading *another* driver who had lost his tire to the same pothole! His tow driver called for another truck to come an get my car, and said it would only be 10 minutes, and it was. My Legend Towing driver picked up my flashing safety devices that I put out, which was nice as I wasn’t even thinking about them. Driver was very nice and calming on the ride to Discount Tires in Matteson, which is what I needed.”

The technician was able to determine that the problem was an alternator and also let us know that our car battery was over 5 years old. We had the battery replaced as well so we don’t break down a 2nd time. Everything was fixed and our car is working fine again. Great Work and Great Price. “Nothing but great things to say. During a snowstorm, Pete towed a plow truck for me and went above and beyond. He picked up the truck, dropped the plow at my shop, and then delivered the truck to my mechanic — all for $125. By far the cheapest tow I’ve ever had, and he made multiple stops with no complaint. The idea to drop the plow first was his, knowing it would make things easier for my mechanic. When I offered to pay him more, he refused. Needless to say, I won’t be using anyone else in the future.”

He takes the time to fix the real problem, not just doing a band-aid fix like many mechanics. I have been very impressed by Dave's help, kindness & being a very knowledgeable great guy as well. I trust them with any of my vehicles for great work at a fair price. You will too. Their shop was hard to find with a small window placque sign but he is there...look for the cars parked outside their shop.”

“I almost never write reviews but I really want to show my thanks to the staff here who basically saved my life today. My boyfriend and I were driving to the promenade when suddenly my tire blew out on the onramp to I-355. I've never had that happen before and we had to pull over in a very dangerous spot, and it turned out that the old tire was rusted and stuck on. My insurance wanted a crazy fee to send someone out "just to look at it" so I took the risk of driving the 2 miles from there to Costco. They were closing at 6 and it was about 5:50, and I didn't even have a membership card on me. I explained what had happened to the staff at the car center and they had me pull my car into the garage, were able to pop the old tire off and install my spare for me free of charge. I truly cannot thank them enough, they solved what could have been a very stressful and expensive problem like it was nothing at all. Thank you so much! I hope whoever is in charge at this Costco sees this and rewards the staff who were working because they seriously saved the day for me and, and you have some awesome people working here.”

“After a breakdown last winter and tow to my usual mechanic, I was told I needed a new engine but they didn't do that level of work there. I found Cooper after a bit of research and am so happy I did. They promptly inspected the vehicle, laid out my options, and gave me an estimate. It did take a while waiting on parts to arrive, but the staff communicated well when I checked in and followed up to let me know the status. Once parts arrived, work was completed sooner than predicted. The car has been running seamlessly ever since. I would definitely recommend.”
