“We left our previous vet for ACC and have been so happy! Our previous vet had awful bedside manner, was dismissive in his answers to us and muzzled our extremely socially anxious puppy at visits to ease his own anxiety (he was convinced he would bite him when there was no history nor sign of that occurring and I was the one holding him). When we took our dogs to our first visit at ACC, Dr. Summerville took her time to bond with our dogs before completing any exams, politely and professionally answered all questions/concerns, and provided meaningful answers in addressing our dog's social anxiety (including writing a prescription for meds as needed which our previous vet never did). When looking at our chihuahua's teeth, she recommended a good cleaning and some teeth removals under anesthesia instead of talking down to us for "not cleaning his teeth" (which our previous vet did); she empathized with us when she discussed how difficult it was for us to do that at home with him. Overall, the move to ACC has already been night and day for us and we couldn't be happier to have found this office with staff that clearly care for the animals and owners they serve. Highly recommend bringing your pets here!”
