I was inquiring on an order I went to pick up and while showing the CSA (for description purposes only: a Chinese man of old age) my digital receipt he kept belittling my understanding and even snatched my phone. He startled me by reaching over the counter and grabbing my phone. Very poor customer service and the store manger is named Dan. The store location is 8701 S Cicero Avenue, Hometown. This employee was unprofessional and my issue was not resolved. The store number is 6629? I’m not too sure because both cashiers working gave me two different numbers.

Really bad service. They send messages to let you know the medicine is ready but when you get there the is not ready yet and you have to wait for a least one more hour. That’s bad.

Their customer service is horrible. They make you wait in line 30 mins and it's supposed to be faster. Drive up pharmacy window it is real slow and they dont care that's why they're all closing down. I guess i'm gonna to have to find a new place to get my prescriptions.

I recently visited walgreens pharmacy in Hometown, for a vaccination appointment with my children. While waiting, I noticed many people requesting assistance from a Spanish-speaking pharmacist. There was only one person available, Lorena, who was incredibly helpful and dedicated. She not only assisted me with my appointment but also helped numerous others who approached her with questions in Spanish. I could see the stress she was under, trying to help everyone. It's clear that having more Spanish-speaking staff would greatly benefit your customers and alleviate some of Lorena's workload. Alternatively, considering the additional responsibilities she manages, it would be fair to compensate her extra for her efforts. I am truly thankful for her dedication and the excellent service she provided.

Worst place ever to send your medications
They are never in stock....doesn't matter if it's the most common medicine they won't have it,and will have to order it!!! And if you have any questions and call them you will be sitting on hold for 30mins or more!!! Go somewhere else and save yourself the headache HOMETOWN 87TH CICERO LOCATION

I loved this Walgreens, compared with 2 others one. Omg this is the best one if you follow the rules..IS OK.. I hate the one close to my house..horrible. but they are short in staff. Not ENOUGH PHARMACY TECH... TO HELP. PHARMACIST HAS TO DO CASHIER, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND THEY DO A LOT FOR TO BE A PHARMACIST...?PLEASE PEOPLE BE KIND WITH THEM... THEY ARE NOT ROBOT.

PHARMACY customer service is HORRIBLE. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. They keep you on hold for over 45Min. THEY DONT CARE!! STAY AWAY!! STAY!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

the pharmacy staff are absolutely useless talked to two different people told me my order is back there and that they didn’t look and went back all of them where clueless and tried saying i needed to pay when it was paid for kept asking me what it was and wont give it to me unless i tell them what it was so i just said yep is a medication because she wouldn’t give it to me any other way and just fought me every step of the way and shooed me away and obviously didn’t want to do her job up for doordash was back there doesn’t tell me what it is and i need to go to pharmacy it took almost an hour to get what i needed for my delivery kept showing them what it said to do on the dasher app support even called them on the phone and confirmed it was there to get and that i could grab it they still told they have no idea what i’m talking about and the order doesn’t existrude and lazy

My wife uses CVS and often some meds have to be ordered. Or they will call other stores and have them work on the order. Not here!

I am filing a complaint to the Illinois board that handles the pharmacy. The problems are constant now and there is no real management. I only use this pharmacy because it is close to my house. We will be switching locations. Horrible service and my child deserves better service for her medication that helps her breathe.
