...spoke with 5 different people since last week. Explained that I'm still waiting to get the mechanic's note's & diagnostic that "allegedly" state the timing chain is bad and need the engine replaced. No one has followed through.

Today I visited the Chevrolet of homewood dealership for a check engine light issue. While waiting on the service department to let me know what was going on, I had someone from the dealership call and ask if anyone spoke to me yet about my car. I replied “no” and he said he would be out in a second to talk. Once he (Moe M) arrived he asked to speak to me in private. We walked over to his cubicle and he explained that he wanted to check and see if there were any recalls on my car. He soon discovered there were no pending recalls and said my engine was “slipping and it will be $3,500” to replace it. Very surprised to receive this information I agreed to explore my options of possibly purchasing a new car. After receiving the offer and trade in value, I was still shocked at the idea of my car and asked to be provided with the report with the full diagnostic and price break down. He pretended to walk over to the service department and retrieve this information from my service representative. And came back stating “oh he’s busy with someone right now.” I then decided to go retrieve the information myself and was asked multiple times to “just wait” and he would get it. I proceeded to the service department where I spoke to the representative handling my car and he denied the diagnosis, the price, and even having a conversation with him. I then asked to speak to the general manager of the sales department to express my concern with the dishonesty and manipulation. The customer service I received from the general manager of sales (Joe) was horrible. He was uninterested, didn’t see an issue in the sales representative making up this entire situation to scare me into buying a vehicle. He did not provide any service recovery and rushed me so he could move onto something else. The sales representative then started to follow me around the dealership, asking me “are you going to just get your car fixed” and came back to ask “is everything ok with us?” This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this dealership. To be intentionally lied to by the salesman to scare me into making a purchase for his own personal gain is unbelievable. Customers go back to the dealership for car issues to avoid being scammed at other car repair places and the dealership went as low as lying to a loyal customer just to make a purchase. I am saddened by this experience and warn others to be mindful of this behavior while visiting this dealership because the sales representatives do not have the best interest of the customer and the manager obviously approves the behavior. My engine was not “slipping and the repairs were not $3500.” My check engine light was on because the throttle body needed to be flushed which was only about $200. I was taken advantage of, lied to, and manipulated by the sales department. And although I never received an apology, the sales department told my service representative they would offer me an extra $1,000 for my trade in value for the “inconvenience” of the situation.

My experience with Matt G was amazing, He greeted me as soon as i walked in, helped me immediately and listened to my preferences on what kind of vehicle i was looking for. As most people our on a budget he got me closest to my price point as far as monthly payment. He answered all my questions, and made my vision of a dream car come true. i would recommend him to anyone looking for a car! thank you Matt you rock!!!

My husband and son arrived at 4:45am- 1st in line- in the attempt to purchase one of the fabulous $995 Black Friday vehicles for sale. The offer just seemed too good to be true. BUT it was absolutely, 1000% TRUE!! Our saleman was SAMMY. Despite all the chaos on that Black Friday morning.... he did a fantastic job! Kind, friendly, down to earth, personable, and even grateful. He kept us informed of the process every step of the car buying way. It was quick and we were on our way. We are a chevy family, and will be back in the future!!!Thanks Sammy for an unforgettable experience!

Matt is the best salesman ever!!!!! I walked into the dealership just expecting to look at vehicles since my car was totaled out by the insurance company, I purchased a used Hyundai Tucson 2017 for a great price and financing!!!!! One of the best days I've had this week!!!!!

I got up at 6am to be first in line at the dealership to get an oil change only to be told they are behind on Oil changes and only doing appointments only. I been a loyal customer since 2019 since I bought my vehicle from them. What a way to lose a value Customer.

I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and my salesman Jake West delivered exactly that with some fun add-ons. I'm happy to now be apart of the Homewood Chevrolet family! The process was painless and I left the same day with the best model of the exact car I wanted at a price within my budget! Thank you to the team that made this possible for me! Jake is very personable and I recommend him to anyone interested in a salesman with integrity!

Chevrolet of Homewood sold me a car that came with an unsolicited added option, a cover up repair job of front end damage. The car looked perfect from the outside; there was no visable damage to the front grill, the bumper, or the lower rubber bumper, all of which would have been damaged in the accident. The $2,200 in damage was only visible behind the cover up. So when the engine light came on, I immediately set up an appointment to have it checked. That is when the service department found the damage. The dealer claimed to have done a 172 point diagnostic on the car before it was put on the lot for sale. If this is true, either they completely missed this major problem (not), or they put it up for sale and washed their hands of a defect that would later befall the unsuspecting buyer, me. This large dealership refuses to own up to and take responsibility for its mess up. I am adamant that I have never had any fron end damage to my car. I will no longer recommend Chevrolet of Homewood to anyone.

Called on Friday to schedule an appointment and was able to schedule an appointment for Monday to have my oil and oil filter changed along with rotation of tires and to have a rear passenger stabilizer bar replaced. Parts were in stock. Dropped my Chevy Traverse at 9:15am and picked up with all work completed by 3pm. Great service from all departments. Thank you Homewood Chevrolet.?

Had to ask several times for the selling price and fees for a 2024 Trax, before they dropped the bomb adding a $3000 market adjustment, plus do not honor family first discount. Of course they also throw in the fact because of the strike they can justify this market adjustment. Shop around not all dealers use these tactics, only the greedy ones that want every last penny they can squeeze from you. I think the salesman believed he had us hooked because we were laughing and having a good time, my daughter loved car etc...my advice to anyone buying a car to always be patient, shop around and check recent reviews.

Total freaking garbage!!!! The mechanics must of been Certified at the bottom of their class. The ppl taking your information when you arrive are clueless. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! One employee told me that they test drove my truck and couldn't find anything wrong - BUT - OnStar (and my odometer) said the truck had not been moved for the 4 days that it stood in their lot!!! FOR 4 DAYS my vehicle had not been TOUCHED but he lied and said that they drove it for miles!! Complaining to management is a complete waste of fucking time, energy, and air!! Just avoid this place. They're clueless as well. Fuck their Ford dealership as well!!!!OMG, it's too much to complain about!! How do we close their doors?

The staff is rude, lazy, and unresponsive. I have never collectively seen so many people in one place who felt entitled to a paycheck sans any quality of performance. We have 150 pickups and I will never take another vehicle here.

Matthew the sales rep was amazing. From greeting me and my family when we hoped out the car to the test drive. Also Tim Morozas the Sales Manager help with the bank to Seal the deal much Personality. I would definitely purchase 5 times if I could.
