my daughter loves this school and I'm very comfortable with leaving my daughter with the teachers she really does love them and I do too! I have no complaints about the care they give my child the only complaint I have is when I make payments I and don't get a receipt and later on questioned about not making my payment just make sure you get a receipt every time, other than that my child loves this school!

My child has been attending this school for a little over 2 years. It still amazes me how much growth has come and every time I think it can’t be topped, I get surprised again. Truly thankful for the listening ears and the moment every child is dedicated. Every milestone is celebrated big or small. Can we talk about the meals and healthy “snacks”? Kids don’t even know it’s not the junky stuff. Thank you FYU staff and administration!

The BEST DAYCARE EVER!! My son is autistic and I loved how well they catered to his needs! I CAN GO ON AND ON THE DAYCARE OWNER MS. I have been working for this company for a year now and I enjoy working here! Everyone work as a team to help provide a very safe and healthy environment for children! My kids also attend this center and they love coming. The manager is very kind and caring. I would recommend this daycare to anyone. There is always something fun and creative going on. Your child is definitely in the right place here.

Just came across the link for First Years and I just want to say as a former teacher and parent this is one of the most loving caring facilities I've ever been too..A place where your children are put first.One of the best friendliest places I've had the pleasure and experience of working at. Such a wholehearted owner & a warm and welcoming place to work and bring your children, Definitely recommend 10/10 if you are in the surrounding Homewood area looking for childcare or maybe even employment, id make First Years University a first stop.

My child has been at this day care for almost three years. He absolutely loves it and they love him. Both of the Directors Mrs Monnea & Mrs Aundrea are amazing and attentive. They both only want the best for all the children and their families. I have seen staff come and go, but those that care most about the children, their safety, and their education are still there. Mrs Monnea works with every family and their finances and genuinely cares. You are making a great decision by choosing this institution for your child.

We initially chose First Years University for its proximity to my office as we share the same parking lot. However, we have stayed these 3 years because of the quality of care my granddaughter receives there. She is well taken care of and constantly learning. All the staff are wonderful to her and very respectful to my daughter and myself and the owner is a delightful woman who is only interested in what is best for the children. First Years University has been a good choice all around.

I have 2 children who attend FYU and I have been very pleased from the registration process to the level of care provided to both my children. My children are at an age where they can tell me how they feel about things and they both love it here!! Ms. Monea, Ms. Maricia, Ms. Wendy and Ms. Patrice are wonderful at their job and that's just to name a few. The staff, the instruction, the after school transportation are all things that give parents peace while they are working. The level of communication between parents and the staff is impeccable! The owner treats our children like her own, she's always so caring, loving and has a total open door policy for any questions or concerns. My last daycare experience was a mess and of course coming from that I was nerves to start my kids over fresh somewhere else, but I am glad I took a chance because this is a great daycare and my family and I wishes the owner much success!!

Hi everyone,My children are new to first years preschool and I am happy and confident to say that this is the best daycare I've been too ever since my children have been born. I have 3 kids all different ages and each of my children are taken care of above and beyond what I could even ask for. Ms. Monnea is a wonderful director and runs a fabulous daycare. I would recommend this daycare to anyone and everyone looking for their child to be somewhere where they evolve the family and allow their team and the parents to connect and basically get to know who watches your children all day.... I have so many wonderful things to say about this daycare. But im just going to say anyone who thinks this daycare is less then what it is hasn't been here or is just dying to put a bad name to it.... Love First Years keep it up lady's you all are the very best!!!

As a parent, I am picky with who I entrust my children to, and often will look to my boys for input on who watches them. You know you've struck gold when they tell you they love their daycare and their teachers! First Years is by FAR one of the best childcare facilities south of the city. I can not express enough how blessed we are to have our son at First Year University. We moved from another town far north and assumed all child care providers were equal. We soon learn how wrong we were. After enrolling our son in another child care center we quickly learned he was being abused. As a parent you want your child safe and treat properly. We were very hesitant to enroll him anywhere else. I came across First Year University through google and gave them a call. The woman that answer the phone was warm and welcoming and she invited us in for a tutor of the school. I was a bit apprehensive but I knew we couldn't let one bad experience stop our son from meeting new people and learning new things. When we arrived to the center we were greeted by staff and I instantly felt at ease. They encouraged our son to play and explore and he wasn't afraid. I spoke to Mrs. Monea about our pass experience and she was genuinely upset that we went through such trama. She personally called me after our son started and provide updates on how he was doing. She took the time to make us feel comfortable and to reassure us our child was safe. The learning environment here fosters children to be individuals and work as a team with others. There is NO negative directives here only positive redirections. My son has learned to speak up for himself and can even identify good decisions verses bad ones. He is encouraged to learn and is free to be a 3 year old. I can not thank the staff and Mrs. Monea enough for all that they do for our children.

First years has a professional and warm staff! I feel very comfortable and confident knowing my child is in good hands. I also appreciate the learning that extends past the school walls with the frequent field trip opportunities ☺️

My son has been attending FYU for 2 years now. I have never experienced a Daycare facility as great at this one! My son loves to go to daycare. They offer plenty of field trips and fun after school activities for the kids And parents. The teachers here love the children in their classes and you can feel that walking into their front doors. I appreciate the ethic the teachers bestow into the students about being friends and courteous to one another. I wish I could give ten stars! <3 I'd suggest this facility to any and everyone.
