“This is a really nice thrift store. They do have sales weekly and also the nice thing about the store is that it's helping children that from what I am gathering. I'm not really sure but it is a really nice thrift store. They sell anywhere from clothes to dishes to furniture I also noticed that they do have a large selection of games books and records and DVDs

“My first visit, 6 months ago, I shopped for 2 hrs. Had a basket full of items and my 8 lb dog (blind, deaf, in special “seat”, no noise) was with me. Several of the shop employees helped me get the cart so my dog was comfortable and they all commented how cute and quiet he was, which I really appreciated. Upon moving to check out, I was (pretty harshly) informed that I was unable to purchase my items as there is a NO PETS policy in the store. Ok… I get it. But why let me shop for 2 hrs before informing me? …… yesterday… I went back, without my dog. Same rude, cold, personalities I remember from prior. Clean store. Good “stuff”. Pricing is a little high for the area. Just don’t ask for assistance.”

“Great place. They have a weirdly good selection of kitchenware. Been there twice now and both times found exactly what I needed. 2 nice, see-through lids for pots, and a ceramic casserole dish from Corningware. All for a great price. Staff are friendly too! Will be back again”

“This thrift store has a bit of everything and really nice furniture. Their dishware is pretty amazing too because it's not over priced or junk. Worth the stop.”

“I have always loved this place & have been going there for many years! I will always be a loyal shopper! The deals are amazing and it's for a proven good cause. You can go in at 50% deal days, and save ton! It's a bit pricier than some of the junkier thrift store but it's much better quality items/high end. Ironically, some of the negative posts below reminded me that I haven't been there in a while and I should get their ASAP. It did the exact opposite of what these people were trying to achieve lol! Right before they close, they do warn people. These people are not paid, they volunteer their time! They work from the goodness of their hearts. Everyone there is friendly to me. That lady that might have been disrespectful in that other person's comment could have been someone that was abused herself perhaps, just guessing. I've always seen friendliness there but in the past people have been disrespectful and lingering around there after hours, so keep in mind these are unpaid volunteers. Also some of the people that were upset about the High-priced items.. well just go on the 50% off days. Or don't go at all and leave all the good stuff for us, lol. I bought this awesome Guess dress, Paris perfume, and bracelet pictured below, very affordably. Brand new Victoria Secrets panties with the jewels on the sides & bras for practical nothing ($4 brand new w/tags) You can't get that at other thrift stores. I know my purchases are going to abused women and children for resources such as shelter and counseling . I'm very proud to support this in the community and I'll keep promoting it. There were a lot of people in there today. I will also continue to donate my clothes too. I love to shop there, and highly recommend!”

“One of my favorite second hand stores. I’ve had my biggest scores from this place out of all of them. They get some good clothing in, as well as some good home decor. More often than not, I find useful things here. The only thing is I wish they had furniture.”

“Treasure Hunting at Its Finest!

Thrifting is honestly one of my favorite pastimes—it feels like a hobby and a little adventure all in one. Today, I stopped by The Village Outlet in Chicago Heights and walked out with some amazing finds for just $22!

One of my best scores was a lightly used, beautifully crafted knee pillow—perfect for prayer, meditation, or gardening. I also snagged a designer straw garden hat ??‍?? and a couple of cute summer blouses ??.

Yes, prices have crept up a bit over time, but if you sign up for their rewards membership, you’ll get text reminder alerts for Sunday’s 3-for-$1 deals on select tag colors, and half-off color-of-the-day discounts the rest of the week. So, you can still bargain shop like a pro.

The store was peaceful this afternoon, and I didn’t have to elbow my way through the aisles—always a win! Big shoutout to the hardworking staff who keep everything color- and size-organized, clean, and easy to browse. ??

If you’re into budget-friendly gems and surprise finds, this place is a must-visit.
Happy thrifting! ?️✨”

“Idk I get that people are complaining about the prices being high, but the clothes are in good shape for a thrift store. Also goodwill has always been known for being on the higher side of prices. Im on the younger side but I have found good clothes that fit my aesthetic here at this location.”
