My fiancee and I had bought a house and we ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot. It was getting delivered today and my fiancee was waiting at home all day for them to deliver it. They finally showed up and they tried to leave the refrigerator at my front door and leave because they said "the refrigerator doesn't fit through the door". They didn't even try to unbox the refrigerator to try to fit it through any of the doors. They said that it's not in their "policy" to take the doors down or unbox the refrigerator. So they just took the refrigerator back and left. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I will be buying a new refrigerator elsewhere.

Amy doesn't have any customer service skills whatsoever! She is very rude and seems as if she's just miserable. She had the little girl working with her laughing at whatever comment she was referring to towards me. She is the absolute worst person to be at the service desk! Terrible service from her! She had an major attitude with everyone! My family and I shop there quite often. Have spent so much money at that location, to have the treatment from her was just terrible. I do not want to deal with her at all. Wish I could give zero stars just because of Amy.

Home Depot installed my windows in June of 2021. We went with them because the sells men guaranteed the customer service strength of Home Depot. Little that I knew, that guarantee was worth nothing. A year and a half later, I am still left with a job that is not down right. I have been on the phone with Home Depot a number of times with just a promise of a return call or an apology for the miss communication. I cannot complain enough about the entire process of the job. The only part Home Depot didn't mess up on was taking my money.

Very disappointed in the Homewood, IL store. Saw online they had a wood filler I was looking for. Homewood was the closest store to me that said they carried it. I called the store before leaving to make sure it was in stock. Got transferred to the paint department. Asked if they had it to verify and the guy said, “If it says we have it online we have it. “ Then proceeded to hang up. So went out there which is 45 min each way. All to get there and for the two guys in paint to say we don’t have it. And said the nearest one is in Oak Lawn which is another 20 min away after already driving 45 min just to get there. That’s why we called to verify they had it. Asked to speak to the department manager who they said was off that day. Went up to customer service and I believe the guys name was Nord. He called Oak Lawn and they didn’t have it nor did any surrounding store. So between the drive and time there was a waste of two hours of my time that could’ve been prevented if the guy wasn’t rude and said, “If we have it online we have it” and hung up. Very rude! My time on my day off is valuable just like anyones and have a deadline to meet with this flooring. Thanks for nothing Home Depot. Thanks for wasting my time. Please get some customer service skills as well.

I work here. And we do the best we can with the employees that we have. I suggest to every customer before they come in to DO YOUR RESEARCH before coming in. We are not Google. Went in to get a color match for paint, the color match paint computer not working. Went to Menards instead and got a explanation of how color match works and got the paint.

Service at the return and customer service desk is ridiculously slow. Employees stand behind the desk and chat with each other ignoring customers completely. When they move it's at the slowest pace I have ever seen humanly possible.

Home Depot advertises they rent wall paper remover with prices etc. When I got there customer service at the rental counter said they do not rent the wall paper removal equipment.

I am replacing windows to my home. One window nearly completed but still need the screen.and the other almost completed. Customer service is horrible and yet when any job is completed they want ALL of the money. So with my incomplete window it first came with the wrong color. How do I begin. Well to start things off, the curtains I got for my window there? HORRIBLE. They're all torn up and dirty. When one of the workers were standing on a ladder to put a paint bucket on the top shelf, she slipped and landed on my child. ON MY CHILD. She acted like nothing happened. I am furious. My little boy, Jacob was asking the worker for directions for the bathroom, he got smacked and was told to buzz off. I saw everything and all the worker said "It's not my fault your child is annoying" I hate this store. And it's smells like sweaty men. I won't be visiting there ever again. Hope that place gets shut down.

I'm refunding my appliances I ordered this place has the most unprofessional rude didn't pass the 3rd grade staff. I will never spend another dime of my money with them. The manager is just as bad They need to fire a few ppl esp front desk that answers the phone. NEVER again

Seriously, If I could give the Home Depot in Homewood Illinois 0 stars today I would. I made an online order and was told that it was ready. Which means it was picked and ready to come and get right??? But when I went to pick it up they said they did not have my rock salt. They were now completely out. I do not know if they bought mine themselves or sold it to someone else. Either way I am unbelievably upset. When I tried to contact a manager I was hung up on. The second time I was placed on hold a very long time. Occasionally someone would pick up, say shes still there, then hang up. I guess Menards it is from now on. Its just an extra blocks drive anyway! My suggestion to whomever runs Home Depot would be: Hire people who actually care and know how to do their job! You may not care that I am inconvenienced now but when none of you have jobs anymore because other companies that do their job correctly and care about customer service run you out of business you might.

This place keeps taking orders that they can't get and they are rude to you and when you tried to get a hold of anybody they don't care about people I told this place for my delivery I ask for after 3:00 pm because no one was going to be there but they didn't lesson to me they are doing what ever they want to do except lesson to what the customer wants

Very very bad service, planning a big project had 2 post pone it again thank to them,,they got paid in full, was supposed to be delivered today, didn't get a courtesy call at all, called to find out my status got his my up on after they where rude..still couldn't give me a status now I have to go up there on my day off and get my money back cause they don't know when they will have supplies in..you think before you take my money, the paying customer you would first verify you have product, I have worker waiting on this, plus I work Home Depot could be more understanding, cause I am a customer too,,not a good way to do business
