“We just had my nephew repast there and the place was great had speakers and TVs at the request of your agreement so if you need it speak up, its very spacious and the owner communicates very well and will try his hardest to accommodate almost all request within reason. The place was clean and we will use this space again that's for sure.”
“We recently hosted a beautiful 60th birthday celebration at this venue: Park Forest location, and everything was absolutely amazing! The space is very large and can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests, which was perfect for our big crowd. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, making the entire event feel special.
The service was professional from start to finish, and the sisters truly did an outstanding job making sure every detail was taken care of. They were organized, attentive, and genuinely cared about making the celebration memorable.
Our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was! I would highly recommend this venue for any large event you won’t be disappointed.”

“My husband found this place for our daughters second birthday party, and let me just tell you what a hidden gem this is. Tia, the owner was extremely professional and responsive to my questions as I tried to nagivate this birthday party. She was very informative and gave me information that was very detailed and didn't leave any room for miscommunication or speculation. If i had any questions, she answered them timely and patiently. The day of the party, our hostess, Ilze was just phenomenal. She helped us set up and was just all around an immense help. The play area and bathrooms were spotless and up to par with an establishment hosting little kids. The space was perfectly set up as to where the parents could sit and watch the world cup game and still be able to see their children playing without ease. The space was safe for our kids, especially at their age, and i really loved that there were cameras in the area to protect our kids and the establishment. All around we were very impressed and it was a lovely birthday! We will be returning on a regular basis. Thanx guys”
“Attended a wedding reception. Spacious venue. Beautifully decorated. Food was delicious. Servers attentive to serving food family style. The food was served hot! That's incredible with guest attendance of about 300. Parking plentiful. Easy to find off Route 30 or 394 depending on the direction you're coming from. Spacious area around the tables and along the sides too. Room for photo booth type.”
“This is a great place. My niece and nephews love the animals inside the nature center. We also love the lake and the waterfall outside. A great place for kids that is FREE! Wonderful way to get them outside and learning about nature. Very helpful and kind staff.”

“I am a new member joined church on Happy Resurrection Day every one calls Easter. It's all about Jesus for me. My sister I grew up with Bridget Hargrove invited and I felt the spirit get me up, especially after he said if you don't have a church home come join us we are family here. I felt that the first day I stepped in Salems Church. Everyone is so nice kind and caring just sweet. I'm so happy to be apart of the family. Pastor Dates spoke and moved me. He preaches God's Word so beautifully. He makes you understand everything breaking it down and letting us hear what God has told him to teach us. I appreciate him very much. Thank you Father God for blessing us with your Son Dr. Charlie Dates. I love this church I am going through some things and my new church is helping me understand a lot. I give what I can every Sunday. I feel no matter what you have give back to God. I'm not selfish or stingy. I give from my heart with everyone. I miss my mom and dad grew up in the Beverly Hills Morgan Park area and attended Morgan Park highschool Mustang love went to the hoagy shop on 111th and when gramps was there on Longwood st right down the street from our high school, with the corn beed sandwiches the best eateries ever. My opinion ?!!! I just wanted to give The HOUSE OF HOPE SALEM'S BAPTIST CHURCH A SHOUT OUT!! IF U DONT BELONG TO A CHURCH AND WANNA HEAR THE WORD OF GOD PLEASE COME HERE. “Family came together for my grandson’s pre birthday celebration gathering & he had a wonderful time, as for me I was chilling like a granny should. Food was exceptional and service, establishment parking lot, entry way, restaurant area, gaming area & restroom very clean. “Social Hall Venue was the perfect place for the baby shower we attended! The venue is absolutely stunning. It's brand new, beautifully designed, spotless, and even has that fresh new paint smell. The space is the perfect size, cozy and inviting without feeling too small or too large.
The location couldn't be better, especially for our family coming from Illinois. It was easy for everyone to get to, and the large, free parking lot made everything even more convenient.
The owners and staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and wonderful to work with as my sister planned the event. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. We highly recommend Social Hall Venue for any special occasion!”

“The 2026 IL SHRM Conference was held at Tinley Park Convention Center, April 30-May 1, 2026. It was great! The sessions and speakers were excellent, the luncheon and closing session were outstanding (food, speakers, and award winners for great places to work). The most outstanding was the closing speaker Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., JD, SHRM-SCP who is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He's speech was content rich, outstandingly delivered and his closing statements and Q&A were transparent, full of vision and positive energy for what we do and how important HRM is here, across this country, and beyond.”

The owner literally helped us and made this the most amazing wedding in such a short time. The staff was sooo sweet and attentive to our needs. They made sure everything ran smooth, kept the place so clean for us. 10/10 would recommend you booking this venue. We had food trucks at the wedding which was amazing! “This is the Jewel of Dolton. I attended my Bruh in law's birthday party at Chucks. I didn't know what to expect. This casual neighborhood establishment turned into a fantastic night! Wow! I was impressed and underdressed!, The decor was laid out to the nines. I though I was attending a wedding not a birthday party. If this is what they do for birhdays... I can't imagine what theyll do for weddings! The music was kickin' and not overpowering, the food was de lish us! I just might host my next event here. The booking agent was pleasant, thoughtful and hospitable. She had all the right answers to my scheduling questions. It was indeed a most entertaining and surprisingly pleasant experience. “My cousin’s 60th birthday celebration was held at the Opulence Gallery. You would never know how beautiful this venue is until you step inside for your appointment. The ceilings are high and filled with dimmable can lighting that creates the perfect ambiance.
I had the opportunity to work behind the scenes as a decorator for this special event, so I had the privilege of working with the staff and owner, who were kind and welcoming from beginning to end. They were always checking to make sure I was okay and if I needed anything, while also giving me space to be creative in their beautiful venue.

“There were 6 of us who went on a Saturday evening 8:30pm reservation (highly recommended). Once inside, the music was jamming and there was a LIVE band. The food was delicious. I ordered red beans and rice, sweet potatoes , fried catfish and cornbread. Absolutely delicious!!!!! And the tequila sunrise mimosa - OMG. This will not be my last visit.”

Rooms: New rooms beautiful. Housekeeping at this hotel has always been excellent.
Food and drinks: Restaurant located on property. Breakfast is usual fare. Lunch and dinner meals are more of a sports bar / entertainment venue type. Happy hour from 4-7 weekdays. Most days have a special theme and type of entertainment. Restaurant is very popular with the locals on the weekends.”
