“I happened to see the sign while driving and I’m so glad I stopped! I’ve been looking for a local farm with real, locally raised meat because knowing where my food comes from is very important to me. Julie, the owner, was incredibly kind and took the time to show me around. They have a great selection of fresh chicken, beef, pork, turkey, steaks, and more. Everything looked fresh and high quality. I bought a turkey breast and will definitely be back. I’m so happy I found this place and highly recommend it!”

“Been coming to Kalck's for 30 + years. It's in the old downtown Crystal Lake across from the train station. In a historical building as most are here, takes you back to the good old days. The best thing is you have a personal butcher that'll cut your meat out you wanted. Have a wide selection. It's always clean and you feel as though you're getting a better quality food here than you would at any supermarket. Not to mention the staff is always helpful. Friendly. Can you get to know each other? A more comfortable & down to earth feel and that's the way the way I like it. Takes me back, in the wayback machine”
