Does not display return policy anywhere in the store or on the receipt. They do not take returns on any clothing even with tags and receipt. How ironic that a place that gets all their clothing dumped off to the for free will not allow you to return clothing. Tricking customers into being stuck with items that do not fit so it ends up being donated back to them and they can resell it again.

Yesterday I found some HOKA tennis shoes. Brand new for $15.00. WHAT A STEAL. I felt so lucky I bought a lottery ticket when I left LMBO.

I was at this store yesterday, drove all the way from rockford , IL to do some thrifting with my mother in law (who happens to be older and only carriers cash) well.. she only had a 100$ bill to pay with and the clerk Samantha was her name decided it would be ok to make my in law feel like garbage all because she had a 100$ bill… they even had the machine and the marker to check her bill… obviously it was good and the transaction continued … Samantha waited untill we walked away to say this “Have a good day *sighs* and thanks a freaking lot for doing 2 transactions and BREAKING the 100$ bill for a small purchase* rolls her eyes and takes the next customer… when i tell you that was so unprofessional and RUDE. I didn’t have time to give her a piece of my mind or tell the manager. I will never be returning to this goodwill again. that was absolutely uncalled for .

Worked and shop there before, staff is okay, but manager is terrible, not much good stuff and what is there over priced, while find a good item once in a blue moon, otherwise there’s way better goodwills

This location is decent. The staff is younger and friendly. They usually have decent selection of secondhand items. They offered military discount on Mondays & I believe senior discount on a certain day too. They always offer a color of the week for 50% off as well. The parking lot sucks but just be aware when driving in. The donation shares the same entrance and exit which can make it tricky for people leaving the actual store.

Goodwills prices overall are going up.. but aside from.that. This location is always super clean. The staff are nice. They have more Home goods then some of the other stores.

There’s a crabby lady there who will tell you it’s against policy for kids to play with the toys. We’ve been to this location and others many times with no problem ever. We always make sure to have one or two toys out at a time and always clean up our mess. I know many people don’t, though. There’s no signage stating this policy and she walked away before I could respond. The lady never approached us again. I was going to ask for clarification from a manager if she came back.This location is much more organized than Carpentersville. They have a smaller section, but better quality stuff. Prices on toys were good. Home goods and clothing can be expensive for goodwill.
