Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love the customer service at my neighborhood Ace Hardware. Prices are comparable or less expensive. Hard to find items ALWAYS CAN BE FOUND AT ACE.

If you are easily swayed by first impressions, don't be put off by the leaning buildings in the lumberyard - this is a great place with absolutely stellar service. We ordered Marvin Windows from Jim, and he was extraordinarily helpful in offering important advice in our making decisions about them. I like him and the business so much we ordered specialty wood doors. He was again most helpful.
