My daughter and I were over from Ireland and Timmermanns looked after us really well. We are experienced riders and the lesson we had here was our first time riding in Wesrern tack. We got the full experience and learned how to tack up and got to ride at all the gates. Thank you Timmermanns for a wonderful afternoon.

My wife has been taking weekly western riding lessons at Timmerman’s and we both love it. Nice laid back atmosphere, patient and calm instructors, and the best trained horses with nice dispositions. Can’t beat it!

Our Daughter loved their events and staff so much that now we are doing weekly pony rides. This place is very welcoming and I’d highly recommend stopping in some time.

Love Timmermans! Art Carol Dale and Dawn! Art helped me pick out my very first horse. A 20 year old babysitter as I was only 7. Carol was like my second mom. She taught me how to ride. They had no barn but the field horses were very well taken care of and loved. How time flies! As I got older I would babysit Dale and Dawn! That was a real trip! Just kidding Dale! I learned so much from Timmermans. Not only about horses. Life lessons like sharing, bravery( wasn’t real good in the bravery department!) caring about other things not just myself. Horses, people, how to take good care of things(tack, people, horses, safety issues when riding, walking the horses, when lunging. And we had fun! Another great thing is if you buy a horse from Timmermanns you will leave with a horse that just fits with you as far as temperament, size , and personality! I could go on and on! They treat you fair in all ways possible. Just love the atmosphere out there!!!!!!!! Bye guys and keep having fun and enjoying yourself and learning!

Very first lesson, they canceled as it was too cold and yet didn't bother to tell anyone. They post it on their website and Facebook page. Going to our very first lesson how would we know to check their website.
If the rest of the place is that poorly handled we will be moving on quickly.
Businesses these days seem to forget they only get one chance at a first impression. This place fails horribly.

Great store ! Great customer service and they made suggestions on boots I tried on. I ended up with the right boots because of their help.

This barn and the people who own it are the real deal. The business has been around for more than 60 years and is now being run by the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations of the Timmerman family. They know how to treat the horses and know how to treat their customers. They genuinely care for both. They normally have a pretty wide variety of horses for sale and have a great eye when it comes to matching horse and rider. Not interested in buying? They will match you up with one of many lesson horses. While primarily a western barn they do have instructors who are more than competent teaching English techniques. There is also a saddle shop on the property that has tack and supplies for your horse along with an ample supply of hats, boots and clothing for riding or casual wear. Stop by and check out the place. You won't be sorry that you did. You can even speak with the founder of the place who still lives on the property. A+ people and an A+ business.
