The worst post office and very disrespectful people- especially the postmaster. They accuse people of leaving their mail on top of the mail lockers. They don’t consider that the mailman is making the mistake of delivering the mail to the wrong person/wrong mail locker, and because of this mistake other people who the mail doesn’t belong to are putting the mail on top of the mail lockers. They also threaten to stop mail delivery in this case, which is illegal. This needs to be reported to USPS, if this happens to anyone.
Ps: I know for a fact that mail gets delivered to the wrong mailbox all the time because I frequently get other people’s mail!

The male clerk at this store is one of the most impatient and unpleasant people I have ever had to deal with, and their insistence of causing a problem for me every single time I try to ship something with him is completely infuriating. Please train your clerks to not instantly argue with customers because of their clear disinterest in being helpful for anyone.

Every time I come in here the attitude I receive is off putting. If you’re that unhappy with your life and unwilling to work customer service, RETIRE. I don’t need to navigate Miss Trunchbull any time I need something at the post office.

The carrier constantly misdelivers mail to me. My current complaint is regarding a package that was left in a mail locker. A key to a locker was left in my mailbox but it was unlabeled and I was told to try it on all of the lockers because the carrier puts packages wherever he wants, rather than the one closest to the correct mailbox. The key didn't work on any locker and I visited the local post office and made them aware. I was told a new key would be placed in my mailbox the next day. The next day a different key was left in my mailbox but it still didn't open any of the lockers. I went back to the post office and was told that they would speak to the carrier, have him remove the package from the locker and put it at my front door, and I would receive a call when complete. Another 24 hours have gone by and I haven't heard anything. I just want my package.

Great employees here! I’ve shipped several items over the last few months through this location and the service is always top notch. Employees are informative, which helped me save money on shipping options. I will definitely continue to use their services :)

I have never had issues with any other USPS location other than the one in Island Lake. The white haired man is incompetent and lazy. He clearly hates his job and it shows. He was yelling at me on the way out of the store. Disgusting

0 star to unprofessional and rude postal worker - Jason! Paid 60$ to send a package abroad, received it back to my address in couple days stating that I provided not accurate description! Question, why he didn’t check and didn’t notify me that the information I provided is insufficient? How would I know what description of items is accurate and what is not without knowledgeable advice of a person who works there? He was the one who accepted my package and typed in the info in their system ! Now I have to pay again, what if it would be returned one more time? I am very disappointed with this service… won’t ever come back to this location…

This place is a joke, always has been, they are constantly delivering mail to the wrong address, we have 5 mailboxes in a bank, they’re always messing it up. I had a personal package delivered, says delivered on the app. It was not. PERSONAL package that should NOT have went to another address. Now everybody and their brother knows my business. It’s changing my life for the worse. Think “13 reasons why” ? if I could shut that place down I would.
