They told me that they treat appointments so same as walk-ins.
I arrived 10 minutes early and waited 25 minutes after my appointment.

As a loyal customer for over two decades, I can say I’ve never been treated the way I was treated here. They have a young male pharmacist that will put your call on hold over and over again until you hang up and laughs about it on the other end. They also will refuse to fill your script if you piss their pharmacist off. I was told they didn’t have my script and was given the run around until they the pharmacist began just outright ignoring my phone call and refused to help me. Customer service does not exist at this location in island lake.
If you have medication that is essential for you to get on time, I recommend you go to another pharmacy because the pharmacy here could care less about you and your medical needs. The store manager seems to encourage such behavior and does not find it an issue. I am disappointed that the only Walgreens in my area does not seem to value their customers. I will be going elsewhere going forward and I suggest you do the same if you want to save yourself problems
and being outright disrespected by their staff.

I have had several awful experiences using this pharmacy. The attitudes of the staff are severely dismissive, unhelpful and the overall service and job of filling and delivering medication is so poor. Don’t bother trying, go elsewhere for your prescriptions.

Waited in line for 5 minutes. I reach the register and the guy says I can’t do alcohol, you have to go to the line in photo. Really you expect us to wait in line twice. This has happened too many times. My house is right behind this store but I’m done with Walgreens

Another. horrible experience at this Walgreens in Island Lake. The manager I just talked to was the rudest most obnoxious person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I called Walgreens pharmacy today to see about my copay for an expensive medication. I was lucky enough to get a lovely lady named Lauren (who is Dir of Operations i found out). She was pleasant, helpful, and a joy to speak to. I appreciate her taking the time to chat with me about the problem going on with the manufacturer savings card. Thank you, Lauren.

Went in for a Covid test rapid results, now, not only do you have to go in store, it also costs $20 even tho Covid is spreading again, also waited til 2:50 when my appointment was at 2:15 just to hear they don’t understand or know what test I wanted. Well even my email simply says rapid results Covid, no influenza or anything and they were saying I ordered a shot. All in all, this place, these people, this pharmacy is a joke. Not a huge fan of CVS but when I got Covid tests with them this certainly never happened.

Checkout staff: TEN STARS. ALWAYS COURTEOUS, always!!PHARMACIST: FIND a NEW CAREER!!! TOLD MY WIFE PAXLOVID WAS NO LONGER ON THE MARKET BECAUSE IT COST $1,000. Got it for free at another pharmacy.

They have a part time pharmacy. Today is Wednesday and the pharmacy is closed because they don't have a pharmacist. I'm moving my scripts because this is the 3rd time in several months I haven't been able to pick up my scripts on my time...weekend or it's too early. They no longer get my go to card
