Placed a home delivery from the Kirk Road St. Charles, IL store the day after the ad came out for next day delivery . I placed an order for several items plus a cook's ham (approx 5 lbs) for $.79/lb. Never said it was low inventory or out. Order delivered next day with a 2lb ham priced at $7.99 lb. This was for a family Easter dinner of 7 people. The ad even had 2 other hams on sale for less than $3. These whole hams could have been easily substituted. Got a friend to take me to Meijer across town for the first time. What a better store and prices.

Cassandra H at the Highland Park store is the pure definition of rudeness and aggression. Grabbed the phone from my hand offending me verbally and raising her voice because I dared to tell her that my coupon was valid for 4 redemptions. This is so disgusting

Fix your app stop bait and switch customers telling us we can only get deals with online order but the app won't accept any more debit cards after 3. Can you uphold to a better business standard. I wanna be treated like any other customer not be singled out for having a card stolen then one expire. Do better on your app and coupons if your app is broken let us use the deals instore I got cash and debit but your virtual wallet doesn't want it

Today, a "one day" sale was advertised forBelvita cookies and Folders Coffee. I trudged out after clipping my coupons,in 25 below wind chills and through the unloved parking lot, did some shopping and when checking out, found the coupons " not accepted " in store? The small print CLEARLY stated In Store. The rude salesperson did nothing to help, but insisted I go home, order Online and drive back to pick up. Ridiculous as it was, I tried ordering On Line, and found there's a $ 3.95 service charge to pick up. What kind of Scam is this. I need an explanation.

Jewel prices are THE WORST!! They dupe customers by promoting a “sale” but it requires you to buy 3 or 4 or the item in order to get the “low” per item cost — but by doing so, you end up spending MORE. Just LOWER YOUR PRICES! A 12-pk of soda should not cost the same as a 24-pack regularly would! And who wants to pay 8.00 for a box of cereal? On Friday I went to buy soda for Christmas Eve. Their 2-liter bottles were 3.29 — but their “sale” said, 2.49 ea —MUST BUY 3 — how is that a sale? I wanted 2. Simple math: 2 x 3.29 = $6.58. 3 x 2.49 = $7.57 — so WHERE, EXACTLY, is the “savings?” You’re forcing people to SPEND MORE! Put your stuff on sale, without any loopholes or stipulations. Just lower the darn prices! Your corporate GREED is beyond reprehensible! And lay your employees a living wage & get rid of those annoying self checkouts! Maybe have one open for express purchases or impatient customers, but frankly, your prices are too darn high for me to checkout and bag my own groceries! Do I work at Jewel? No!! Do I get an employee discount for doing a cashier AND bagger’s jobs?? No!! And another thing, your produce is disgusting! I bought clementines recently. Got home (the store is 2 blocks from me, so I was home in minutes), opened one up — it was BLACK inside! Opened another, same thing! I was exhausted after a long work day, and didn’t want to leave my house again. So I called corporate — number shown in the website states it’s located in Itasca, IL — but the call was answered by someone in a foreign country! He didn’t understand a word I was saying, and when he finally did, he said someone from corporate would email me - I gave him my email address. Naturally, NO ONE contacted me! I never got my refund, even though the guy said I would. Go dare you charge people for such nasty produce?! It’s not the first time I’ve gotten bad (rotten) produce from this Jewel! You obviously take zero pride in your “quality” and have the nerve to rip people off with fake sales and making customers jump through hoops in order to “deals” (Your App is confusing, your coupons are too limited and don’t offer much of a deal, and you force people to buy multiple quantities). Corporate greed at its worst! Soon you will go by the way of Dominick’s and you’ll have no one but your CEOs to blame.

I've been unable to speak directly with anyone at the Jewel headquarters regarding their card selection: In the 21st Century, what store fails for years to stock holiday cards for both Hanukah and Kwanzaa, only Christmas cards?

Was blocked out of my Jewel account. Changed devices and that was it. Password resets and new links given did not work. Could not get it restored with four calls to Jewel. Company people are completed inept and waste your time.

Kert M is the worst employee at Park Ridge! I was there today ( my mistake) to get some stuff. My coupon wasn't working at SCO, and it set the light off, so he came over. Said, "let me have the coupons." Very curt and rude. I said, "I'll do it." He stands there and watches me! It didn't work. So he did it after all. Meantime, he tells a young employee, "Go give that to the meat department. ( MORE EXPIRED stuff) I have nothing to do with it!" Really dude? Front end mgr. was no help. I asked her, if he's having a bad day. She says ( just smiled), "well sometimes people come off..." I said, "no." It's a copout. You do NOT speak to people like THAT! I told her, "this is the last time I'm coming in here!" Oh, I'm sorry about that!" I told her, "everyone is sorry, but nobody's gonna do ANYTHING about it! I'm calling corporate I said!" And just left. Disgusting. They're not rude employees. Just unfriendly. Never again.

Jewel has a habit of putting their pop on sale where you have to buy four to get the sal price. They then give you less than the required amount and charge you full price for the number of pops you receive. When you call, they act as if they don't understand what you are talking about.

The Jewels that's located on State and Ohio has a very rude and disrespectful manager. She speaks to the customers horribly. I called up there to ask a question and she was rude and hung up on me. I believe her name was Carolyn.
