“Hello Fez and especially you Dave.Jerry of the Chicago Ball Busters,which are friends of ours from Lombard and the Back to the '50s St. Paul car shows said I should look you all up to finish fixing up "Grumpy's Ride". Well I broke it bad and it had to be rent back and rewelded back together.Dave did a great job on realigning back where it should have been and corrected the front end ride height so I could put a jack under it once more AS WE WAITED.That alone was a miricle in more ways than one especially after I couldn't even find anyone to look at it both before and after the front end repairs were made.Now Grumpy's Ride is better than it ever was way back in 2009 when we first got it.Both Mrs. and Mr. Grumpy want to thank Jerry and everyone at Stan's Service,especially Dave that Jerry said I should talk to,for bringing our only toy we have left to have fun with in our old age.We were treated so nice by all on you and we will never forget this.John "Grumpy" and Elaine "Snow White".”

“David and his team are the best. He's incredibly knowledgeable. I had some kind of pebble stuck in my A/C exhaust, so when I would turn on the A/C the passenger side foot well would flood. Another place wanted to seal 2 guys in there for hours to figure out if it was actually a problem. That sounded like a lot. I took the car to David, and he took compressed air and shot a quick second of it into the A/C exhaust, and then a stream of water started to come out. He sent me on my way with a bill of under $50, where the other place was going to charge me more than $1k. I'm never going anywhere else.”
“I had a piece of plastic, possibly a cover or protective piece on the underside of my vehicle hanging down and dragging along the road, I stopped by the dealership on Golf Road but of course they were busy. I brought it down the street to Abby, and Chris briefly paused his current job to roll my car on the rack and fix it, and he didn't charge me for it. Easy fix, I wasn't there even for 15 minutes, but I appreciate the willingness to address it right away. Love the family business level of customer service. Better than dealerships and franchises. A+”

“I first looked this place up and what helped me choose here was the reviews, so hope mine helps out someone else. Frank and the staff were very helpful and friendly. My car kept dying on my and they were able to get me a list of things I need done but are not the pushy type making you use them before getting other quotes. I trusted what they found and even though I couldn't do everything on the list what they did fix was super fast and reasonably priced. “First time visiting AW Auto.. had not been familiar with them but had to get my vehicle in somewhere quick after the local Firestone could not diagnose the problem. Spoke to Michelle initially and basically she gave her input and chatted while I just decided to get my car in without further issues as my car was miss-firing and wasn't looking good. Left the car with AW and Michelle even gave me a ride back home so I wasn't paying for a ride. They called back with the details and also contacted my warranty provider to assist with everything and had the car ready promptly and back in order. Got to meet and speak with Jim for quite a bit and they were all very knowledgeable and experienced and very as down to earth and informative as could be. Definitely recommend and will visit in the future if necessary!!”
“Our Transmission was slipping and had become unsafe to drive, we stretched it out as long as we could knowing we might have to throw down 3 - $4000 for a new one. Dropped it off thinking it would be a week before we saw it again. Much to our surprise recieved a call that afternoon that it was finished! And just under $1000!!! I'm sure another shop would have just sold it as a total rebuild or replacement but because these guys are honest committed to their work they see things others will overlook. Thanks guys so much!”

While I would never show up without an appointment for anything bigger unless it were a sudden emergency, I feel they treated me really well. I used to go to Joe at Formula One in Mt. Prospect, and I'm so happy that I've found a new home for my car! ?”

“Our 2002 Explorer was having some transmission issues and a friend told us about Transomatic. They will actually let you know about your problem before just throwing parts at it.
Unfortunately the explorer needed a rebuild, but they didna great job and the price was very competitive. Nice to have a good trans shop not that far from us.”

The mechanic found a screw, removed it, patched it, and sent me on my way at no charge. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

“Called Mark at Nolte's because my car potentially needed new front brake pads and rotors. I had been quoted $997 at a nearby shop and a coworker recommended I call Mark. Mark gave me a a much more reasonable quote, so I brought my car to Nolte's. They diligently diagnosed the brake issue, replaced the rotors and pads, and stayed true to their quote. I will be bringing my car to Nolte's from now on.”
“I brought my truck to Accurate Auto after dealing with a check engine light that no one else could figure out. The truck was showing multiple codes — P219B, P0300, and P0306 — and it turned out there was low compression across the entire right bank of the engine. My engine had actually been replaced with a new Jasper engine back in March, so this issue was a major concern.
Accurate Auto took the time to properly diagnose the problem and discovered that the engine itself had a defect. They reached out to Jasper on my behalf, handled the entire warranty process, and got approval for a replacement engine. Within about two weeks, they had a brand-new Jasper engine installed and had my truck back on the road.
Their communication, professionalism, and honesty throughout the entire process were outstanding. They solved a problem that several others couldn’t, and they stood behind their work. I truly appreciate how smoothly they handled everything, especially something this major.

“Recently, I accidentally pulled off my gas cap cover on my car when it got stuck, I decided to stop at A-Z Auto Repair and talked to Robb Schultz the owner and told him about the problem with my car.
Although Robb was busy also dealing with other customers, he took the time to come outside to my car and manually got the gas cap cover on my car.I wanted to give Robb compensation,a little cash for his time.
He outright refused and asked me to bring in my car for any future service I needed.
A-Z had been around for over 60 years,three generations of family ownership.
I've known Rob's uncle Rick for many years.

“I am from Minnesota and drove my car to Carol Stream on January 1 to attend a funeral for my uncle. As I was close to my hotel, my low oil pressure light came on. When I got to the hotel, I checked the oil and there was a significant leak. My wife checked on line for car repair shops near the hotel, and the closest one was Kehoe auto repair. We checked reviews and they were all good. I showed up at the shop right when it opened at 8 am. I didn’t have an appointment, but Chris got my car in right away. It turns out that the mechanic who did an oil change before I left for Chicago, didn’t install the drain plug gasket correctly and it popped out causing the leak. Chris and his team fixed the problem and only charged $54.74, and they did it in plenty time for me to make it to the visitation and funeral! I cant thank them enough for helping me out! I would highly recommend them.”
