Marty is a helpful and courteous man who is a wealth of information and always friendly. This place is clean, well-lit, and the atmosphere feels safe. The only thing I think could be changed a little is that the overhead garage door stays open longer than it should after the eye has been cleared, but I am new to this storage stuff, so maybe there is a good reason for that. Otherwise, Marty is truly an asset to the company and this location is bright, clean, and wonderful.”

“My experience at My Mechanic Elmhurst was terrific. They conducted their inspection and determined my A/C compressor went kaput. They also performed the required testing to determine the reason for a Check Engine light.
I brought the car in on Friday and the repairs were completed by Monday morning. Courteous service and they satisfactorily answered all my questions. I will have all of my cars serviced by My Mechanic in the future.”

Unfortunately, our experience with U-Haul as a company was the complete opposite. We reserved a 10' one-way truck well in advance for my daughter's college move. During the week leading up to the move, we were called repeatedly—sometimes twice a day—changing the pickup time, location, truck size, or some combination of the three. My daughter, my wife, and I all called multiple times trying to get things straightened out. Each time we thought we finally had a plan based on U-Haul's availability, we'd get another call the next day changing it again. The entire reservation and customer service process was an absolute disaster.
U-Haul as a whole gets 1 star from me. Vanessa gets 5. She turned an incredibly frustrating experience into a positive one, and U-Haul is very fortunate to have her at the Rolling Meadows location.”

“I have my own business and I have tried many local truck rental /storage locations and never too happy with one until I tried U-Haul Moving & Storage of Carol Stream. Trucks are always clean and in great working condition. The storage units are always clean with easy to use over head doors. But a big reason I have continued to use U-Haul Moving & Storage of Carol Stream for years was because of Catherine the mgr. When I heard she left U-Haul Moving & Storage of Carol Stream I thought I might have to find a new provider. I met the new Mgr DeShawn and I could hardly believe that he surpassed the great service I have received for years from Catherine. In today's world this level of knowledge of the job, friendliness, and a true desire to help is almost non existent! I highly recommend Mgr. Deshawn and U-Haul Moving & Storage of Carol Stream!!”
