I've been a Ferrellgas customer for over 20 years, but this last year was not a great experience. I've always done the pre-buy and your deliveries were automatic. But this season when I got down to 20% I called customer service to see why I hadn't been refilled. I was told that I should have called to request a refill and that if I needed an emergency refill, it would be a $50 charge. A $50 charge for gas that I have already paid for? I don't think so. So anyway, two weeks later I got a refill, in the middle of January I was down to 8%... the delivery drivers have always been friendly but customer service has been somewhat arrogant in my opinion. I will definitely be considering other options for the next winter season.

We've never had a problem with delivery. Drivers are always nice. The issue is that the company expects full payment immediately. That's hard to do. If you make monthly payments they want you to set up an automatic payment plan which I don't like anyone having access to my account. So they call you every month wanting the payment. We've been with them for several years and have always payed our bill. They should be more considerate of those that aren't sitting on a large bank account.

I would have had good things to say until I got the bill. I got charged an extra fee that was not disclosed at the time of delivery. I have had a tough time after my grandmother passed. I saved and had enough to fill my propane at a half point. I barely had enough to cover delivery only to be charged 50 dollars for testing the propane tank. I understand that that is required but no one made me aware of the charge until the bills started to come. it's been hard enough to catch up on the other bills. I haven't had 50 dollars to spare.

We have been out of propane now for 2 weeks (even during the extreme cold and my mom had a major surgery, she has had cancer) and they finally called us back today after calling and calling this morning. They said they aren’t delivering today and won’t be anytime soon. THEY ALREADY TOOK OUR MONEY!! This is the most unprofessional company. The receptionists are always very rude and they never have a manager to speak to.

Over the past 4 years I can recall 5 times this store is closed early because of a so called emergency . If you want return customers try and hire help that will actually work regular hours
