I had a 5 tires for my Ford truck . I went to Discount tire for a leaky tire , they checked it and said the tire was not repairable because the problem was a nail to close to the side rim. So I was buying a new tire from them . But I was told I could not have the old tire back , because of there company policy. So I tried many different things and still was told I could not have my old tire back ! Long story I had to buy a new tire from them , and the only way I was leaving with the damaged tire was if Discount tire Put an unreliable hole in the old tire ! Or just leave that tire with them ! So that is what I did ?? ???

Karl is the best, he is patient with me and gives me a few options when purchasing new tires. I only get my tires from him. If I ever have an issue, he fits me in the schedule to fix what ever the problem is.

Honest, hardworking group, very happy I took my car here. Sean was great selling me the tires and at the actual appointment Karl and Sean, and all of the guys involved were great. Will be coming back.

The fellas working 09/28/24 at the front desk were so great to me! (Drop off 0800 / pick up 1520). Friendly, timely and really impressive customer service. A place that would otherwise be an intimidating facility for me, was absolutely not. Grateful for these guys today.

Let’s face facts buying new tires is not the highlight of anyone’s week nor day. But I have to say this was one of the smoothest transactions I’ve ever had buying tires. I purchased them online on the discount tire website to receive an extra discount. They were delivered to the store. I promptly got a call That they had received them and if I would like to move up my appointment I could. I told him I could not, but I would be there first thing Saturday morning and they were super super friendly. I got there. The gentleman said I had picked great tires , putting my mind at ease since I don’t normally do this They had the car done within an hour and had me back on the road. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Great experience all around! Called in to make an appointment and spoke with Manny and wanted specific tires and needed to get them changed that day, they didn’t have them but manny was willing to work with me and get those tires shipped over to the store same day. I was worried it wouldn’t come in and Manny was patient with us and gave us another option that I was comfortable with and even willing to give us these tires for the same price as the specific tires I wanted. He keyed us in and said just come by and they’ll take care of me. Got there and didn’t get to speak to manny in person but the young man that helped me at the counter was very nice as well, looked me up and everything Manny promised over the phone was there so I was all set within a min. They said it would take about an hour (it was pretty busy there) so I left to go to a store nearby. Came back less than an hour later, and then another gentlemen remembered me, knew which car was mine without me saying a word and told me that they were almost done and I should be all set.
Don’t get a lot of great experiences with businesses but today the customer service was on point.
Definitely going here for all my tire needs!

I just want stoped in there to have them to put on my old tire on my car they said that my other tire was about to go fat. i didn't know that they put three new tires on for me until I to look. I said I can only to one for right now. It only cost me $100.00 because I was low on cash. They gave me three tires with all new lug nuts. Those was free. And I only had pay for one tire.?????? I but definitely recommend them to friends and family they are a definitely five star ?????? thank you discount tire??????? and thank you to all the staff. They are very good staff and very helpful very understanding.

Just so you know, Discount Tire isn't JUST for car & truck tires. This latest purchase was needed to replace the rear wheels in our Bush Hog zero turn mower. One of the OEM steel wheels was damaged. Replacement OEM wheel from a local dealer, was expensive, a tedious process & would have been time delayed. I was able to order TWO alloy ATV wheels which had the correct bolt circle dimensions for not that much more than a single OEM steel wheel. A downside to this approach is that it requires new lug nuts for a proper fit. Eladio (Assistant Manager) was extremely helpful and took complete care of all the necessary details, even offering a choice of wheel styles. There was was one glitch with this order, as the wheels needed to be ordered and shipped from Vector in Indiana. It was only supposed to take a day, two at the most. Unfortunately, after receiving the confirmation email that the wheels had been delivered, the store personnel could not locate them, stating that they had not been delivered to the store. After checking my delivery email, plus a couple phone calls later with the store, Carl confirmed the delivery details with the manufacturer, The pair of wheels were located in the store, apparently, after being placed in an area where they shouldn't have been stored. All was easy after being located. Eladio took care of the rest of the details, making things right. He took extra steps to ensure everything worked out fine.
I have been using Discord Tire for about 10 years now, ever since first introduced to them in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I bought a used dually pickup at the Ford dealer directly across the street who never disclosed that it had 6 dry rotted tires. I was absolutely NOT driving the truck back to Wisconsin on those tires and would dammed certainly NOT be giving that Ford dealership any of my hard earned money. Thankfully, that Discount Tire was, literally across the street and the store had an amazing manager who made the process as enjoyable as possible (when having to spend money on 6 tires...). Began frequenting the Round Lake, Illinois store after that. Now, the newer McHenry location is more convenient, most of the time.
Even after this first-ever purchase glitch, 8 continue to highly recommend then McHenry store location. They stand behind their products like: Tire pressure monitor sensors, tires, wheels and workmanship. You can trust that their recommendations, products and service.
