this is one of the only retail stores in Johnston city. Everytime I come here and get to checkout there is only 1 cashier while all of their self checkouts are closed?? Not to mention the only time I’ve used self checkout one or their workers had to do it for me. I’m tired of waiting 20 plus minutes to checkout because they won’t utilize anything in their store.

Nice clean store. Shelves stocked pretty. Were a few that were empty, but to be expected. Last at the check out very nice. She was really trying to help a man that didn't have enough money to pay for everything after she rang it up. They were able to work it out.

Johnston City dollar general has been closed for 2 weeks ? talk about ridiculous ? ?. Yes I know building was hit but I hate having to drive to herrin any time I need something hopefully someone will become responsible and get the store opened soon
